Dr. Susan Diane Boulware, MD

My son has been going to her for over 8 years. Takes her time with the patient, answers all questions thoroughly, great bedside manner, trust her knowledge and experience.

I took my 10 year old son to see Dr. Boulware in 2009. After an extensive visit, the doctor said that she could find no diagnosis for my son's extensive list of symptoms. She ordered no testing. My son has suffered for 5 years since this visit. I have since taken him to another highly regarded endocrinologist who diagnosed him with insulin resistance almost immediately. He then performed a specialized glucose tolerance test to verify his findings, as well as a sleep apnea test. All confirmed this. Even though I asked Dr. Boulware if this could be an issue for my son, she did not investigate it. I even told her we had diabetes on both sides of the family.

Dr.Boulware fit us into her schedule promptly because time was of the essence as my 7 year old daughter was showing advanced signs of puberty. She was friendly, comfortable and informative to both my daughter and myself. She spent a great deal of time with us until she was comfortable that we had no more questions. She was clear in delivery of our options and supported our decision. I would highly recommend Dr. Boulware to others.

Careful, cosiderate, consistent & caring with great follow up. Willing to spends time with a stressed parent!! Child likes her very much.

Dr. Boulware is a wonderfully warm, caring physician who has a strength in dealing with and talking to children. We love her!!
