Dr. Bridges is a competent and knowledgeable physician but has poor bedside manner. When me and my fiancé experienced a miscarriage she appeared not to care about it and instead of recommending proper resources just went on and on about what to do next and never really explained what the miscarriage meant. As someone in the healthcare industry, I feel like Dr. Bridges is uncaring and has very poor bedside manner. Granted, she was knowledgeable and in follow ups helped explain the miscarriage better but in order to properly care for her patients, she should ensure to give proper resources and show more compassion after losing a loved one.

She failed to follow-up several times and failed to make a critical decision that would have prevented me from undergoing surgery. She expressed that her prior plans were more important and wanted me to wait over the weekend to come in the office on Monday for a visit to receive a necessary treatment that would prevent life threatening symptoms.

I saw her for a preconception visit and after waiting an hour and a half she spent less than 15 mins with me and rushed out the door not addressing my concerns and said I was "healthy and well informed" and wouldn't have any trouble getting pregnant. My health concerns about endometriosis, age, fibromyalgia and narcolepsy were completely ignored. Well several months later and still no baby I called about some concerns, not feeling well, etc. and I was blown off again, told to take some advil, it hasn't been 6 mths of trying yet and if I wanted an appt it would have to wait 2 weeks!

Dr. Bridges is wonderful. She delivered my first child , and made me feel comfortable.

I was seeing Dr. Bridges for infertility treatments. My primary care doctor referred me to her office. Dr. Bridges wasn't very thorough as far as talking to me about what she was doing and why. I felt like any of the time she spent with me was rushed... And she didnt have any interest or time in the many questions I had. Also- she didn't create any sort of treatment plan. I have learned more information about my troubles from a forum than I have my own doctor. I have now switched and even in the waiting room I feel more comfortable.

Very easy to get appt so wonder how many pts this MD has. Took day off of work, drove 35 miles one way, arrived at office to never be greeted. First words from staff member "We don't start til 130. I was a "New pt" and arrived the traditional 15 min early to do paperwork. Still no greeting or smile, just handed me the paperwork and pen. Wow. Then Sharon, insurance person, argued with my insurance carrier in front of entire staff and waiting room. Embarrassing doesnt cover it. Sharon says I have to pay 50% out of my pocket to be seen, United Healthcare says they pay 100% of my wellness visit. UH gave her a preauthorization code for 100% coeverage..I still can't be seen without laying out hundreds of $. No apology from Sharon for being wrong or embarrassing me and making it impossible to have my anual exam. Been a nurse over 20 years..never seen such rude behavior anywhere. Many, many good OB/GYN doctors in Augusta and Evans. Please use them.

Dr. Bridges was not very helpful and didn't try to understand my problems. In my opinion, she always looks like she dislikes her job. She is apathetic towards her patience. She doesn't have good suggestions...She likes to prescribe unnecessary medications.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bridges since 2005,she is an excellent Doctor. She express to me she is there to save lives,and hope that I allow her to do her job to the best of her ability. She alway have a kind smile and answer all my question to my satification. I recommend all my female friends and family to her. I feel I have a better quality of life after she completed my surgery.
