Dr. Susan Carol Bunch, MD

She is incredibly rude, uncaring and condescending. Concerns are not addressed. Questions are cut off without answers. The absolute worst healthcare practitioner I have ever encountered. Avoid her at all costs.

Dr Bunch is amazing. I meet her when I was 17 weeks pregnant (1st pregnancy)I am glad that I choose her in the huge Dr list my insurance send me ,my previous Dr was not the professional I expect. Dr Bunch instead was all that I expect and beyond. She is to the point, cares about her patients , very knowledgeable. My pregnancy ended up with a high blood pressure and they can't induced me either ,Dr bunches was supposed to be off but she came that day and did a C section. I will always be thankful for that. Now she is taking care of my on me second pregnancy. I highly recomend her .I am glad and thankful that God put her on my way .

Dr. Susan bunch is the doctor for whom i have less words to describe. She is not only a good human being but also very kind caring doctor .I had my delivery from her and she took care of me during my pregnancy aswell. She gave me very good advices for everything and understands what i feel. She made my pregnancy journey a memorable and wonderful experience. I didn’t get a chance ever to thank her . I think writing this might do some.

I've been with dr.Bunch for 30 years I have NEVER had a bad visit . YES she is very much matter of fact and she talks to you- has alot of knowledge to share. I can ask any question and get and answer in detail .The woman knows her stuff. I have to travel @1 hr to her office ,but there is no one else i would rather go to. I think she is GREAT! If you don't want a straight forward well educated woman who knows her stuff .You might not like her, because she will tell you the way it is.this day and time that is what kind of doctors we need some one who will tell like it is. LOVE HER

I had my first visit yesterday and I am already looking for a new doctor to carry out the rest of my pregnancy with. I saw Dr. Bunch and was completely put off by her demanding character. I had to go to the ER for some bleeding 4 weeks prior to this visit. I was advised by her MA to go to a Norton ER so she would have that information at my first appt. Everything was fine but when I first came in its as if she had no knowledge of me every going to the ER. She came in and didnt even introduce herself and I dont even think she asked me my or the fathers name. She started explaining all the tests and blood work that would be done. Specifying on how they test for sickle cell now in every pregnant woman, just not woman who are “bi-racial or African American” because the world is a melting pot now. The father and I are people of color, so im not sure why that had to be specified so deeply. Just going through the list of things they test for would have sufficed. Its like she never… took a breath and I never had a chance to ask any questions. I have wellcare insurance and she kept mentioning how much it sucks and how she had to jumo through hoops to get an ultrasound and that my insurance is a waste of her time and I should switch to Passport. Appointments are scheduled 4 weeks in advance, if you can’t do your job and make sure an ultrasound is secured within that time, you may want to retire. When speaking about delivery I had to cut her off just to mention I was hoping to have some type of water birth. She shut me down completely saying “no no no, we do not do that, nowhere in Kentucky does that, it is considered malpractice because the water can become contaminated and many babies are dying from septic shock because of the ecoli from your butthole when delivering.” I then mentioned I didnt want an epidural due to a back surgery I had and was hoping to use nitrous oxide. She then mentioned how gruesome and painful the end of my delivery would be because I would not have an epidural. The father was rolling his eyes the whole time and I knew he was upset and frustrated with how our first appointment went. He doesnt want her near me or the baby, and I agree. I cannot picture myself listening to her during delivery and feel like she would stress me out more than anything. She's pushy and really doesn’t listen to what YOU want. She didn't have that caring motherly feel, or even concerning feel that some male doctors have. She also talked most of the time when trying to find my baby’s heartbeat that I couldn’t wait to hear. The staff was nice, and the lab technician was even better. But the most important piece of this puzzle was missing. Next time I will search for reviews on the physicians myself, not just the clinics. And if you do look at reviews for Dr. Susan Bunch, the most recent ones are similar to mine.

She is so rude. She never lets anybody ask questions. She intentionally did C-section although the mother was 8 centimeter dilated.

She's nasty , and doesn't care about people health.
