Dr. Susan R Cero

I specifically returned to Dr Cero for my 2nd total knee replacement because the 1st knee (4 years earlier) went so well. She is very professional yet so friendly. I was so comfortable in her skilled hands. She's a straight shooter yet listens to her clients. The patient has responsibilities too which has an impact on your recovery. I hope I don't have to utilize her services any more but if needed, I will certainly do so. One of the best! Her P.A. David is also great. I've been telling all my friends and connections about them.

An hour after arriving...I was 10 mins early for paperwork...someone came out and told me it would be another hour before I could be seen. If I had arrived two hours late they would have told me I missed my appointment and sent me on my way... For someone might cut me open... I would hope for a bit more competence.......and better manners.

Dr. Cero is kind and compassionate. She is an excellent surgeon. She explained my surgery to me in detail including the things I did not want to hear, like how long I would be out of work and how much pain I would be in. Forewarned was definitely forearmed and everything worked out fantastic for me. She and her staff are wonderful and I would recommend her without reservation.

I've met with 4 surgeons regarding a hip replacement and I'm putting my trust in Dr. Cero. She spent a lot of time reviewing my med. history with me & learning what I want to get out of a THR. Next meeting is with her surgical PA, who definitely has an important role in the procedure. If that doesn't go as I expect, I will change docs but I'm not expecting that to happen.

She was very short in her visit, which was very short I had also placed a call a couple of days later and received no response from anyone. It has been well over a month

Susan Cero is professional and gave me options. Tried several steps/treatments before going to full blown surgery. I followed her advice, did the necessary follow and allwas great. Good enough to go back to her to do the second rotator cuff.

Dr. Cero repaired my ACL using a hamstring graft in 2002 and did an excellent job. Now that I'm an RN, I truly realize what a patient-centered practitioner she really is!

I had meniscus repair surgery six months ago at Dr. Cero's recommendation. I continue to be in pain and I'm unable to walk for any distance without a great deal of discomfort. After several follow-up appointments, Dr. Cero is now recommending knee replacement......how can that be? I had no pain prior to a small tear in the meniscus. Was she just trying to scare me? If so, it worked!
