The ad she has on the internet is for the both of them. I was very depressed that I got turned down. I have a lot of anxiety and had a stroke and have epilepsy, I couldn't get any benzo's for anxiety because of being on pain management.I understand that but since they have shut down, why can't I at least get an appointment and talk to her in person and tell her my problems and issues instead of a receptionist going back and forth and asking who ever. I am 70 yrs. old and this is so depressing. I am sure I will have a headache for the rest of the day and my anxiety is so bad right now that I can hardly type. I thank them for their time, and wish and hope that they would have a heart and call me back.

Dr DeLap may make you wait but when you are in her office she pays full attention to you and what is going on in your life. I don't mind waiting because I know 1. She will give me extra time when I am going through a rough time'; 2. She is well worth waiting for and 3. I am happy that a doctor cares more for her patient's than she does the clock!

I was a patient of Dr. DeLap's for twelve years. Having bipolar disorder for 45 years (so far) and living in three different states, I have seen many psychiatrists. Until my first appointment with Dr. DeLap, I had not seen a psychiatrist that actually listened, asked vital questions, and responded with interest and professionalism. She worked diligently to prescribe the right medications at the right dosages to stabilize my disorder. I moved out of state and have tried to find a good doctor for four years without success. Through experience with her, my number one recommendation to others with mental health disorders is: "Find a good doctor." Hands down - she's the best!

During the visit I lost my keys and was still charged the time it took to find them. She referred me to another person and gave me a book to buy. Complete joke for the 800 dollar bill.

After seeing Dr. DeLap for over 4 years, I was so sad to see that she left West Central. I so want to continue seeing her, but don't know where she is practicing at. She took extra special time with me and made me feel at ease talking about everything I have been through. I don't want to start over seeing a different Dr. And I desperately need to see her again. Not very often can you find someone as caring as her!

of 20 years of seeing various psychiatrist Dr. DeLap is by far the most intelligent and engaging ever, she takes the time to get to know you as a person not just another patient. This really increased my confidence in her medical advice. When she was employed by the state of ND, she went far and beyond her job description, as I was a patient of her's at WCHCC in Bismarck, ND. I was sorry to see her leave, but I can understand her decision.
