Dr. Susan Stephen Glander, MD

I saw Dr. Glander from 2007-2009, She was fine as a doctor at first, she delivered my son and everything went well. Afterward we discussed birthcontrol and decided Mirena was the best option for me. I had many problems with it and told her about them a few times, she insisted that I keep it in for one year and everything would level out and my body would adapt to it. Well at the one year mark I had her take it out. She insisted she had thousands of patients that never had an issue with it. However I researched the issues I had and found hundreds of thousands of women across the world having so many health concerns stemming from Mirena. As a doctor who regularly recommended it, how could she not know about this, when I easily found it online? It took my body a year and a half before I started feeling close to normal again. Listen to your bodies ladies. I should have much sooner. Needless to say I didn't see her again after that.

Dr. Glander literally saved our son's life at birth and I am forever grateful...She also is a wonderful human being who takes time to answer all your concerns and questions and listens to what you feel is going on with your body. I will always recommend this wonderful person to anyone requiring the best of female care!

I am still in shock over how rudely this doctor has treated me. I have never had an experience like this, or been interrupted and insulted by a doctor. When asking logical questions, about a condition she did not understand since she did not give me a chance to explain, I was disregarded and and told if I didn't like her course of treatment I could go somewhere else. I felt talked down to, not heard. I left that office in tears. Gynocology is a specialty that I believe you need a good bedside manner, as the women usually feel more vulnerable and emotional about what they are going through. I am very thick skinned otherwise, and like an honest doctor. This was not that, and crosses the line seriously. I'm sure people have had her deliver a baby for them and think she is great, but as for the other reviews I have read now about her being rude and uncaring, I totally now see exactly what they mean. I too would "run" as they put it and definitely find a better doctor!

I waited for 2 hours then doctor spent couple of minute with me. Even she has not checked my condition and looks like was in hurry. She has not even touch to check any thing.

Dr. Glander is worth triple her weight in gold (she is a slim woman). She is extremely warm and friendly and I have recommended her to many friends. I even had some reports to come be with concerning outcomes and her nurse, Julie, repeatedly called me, mailed me letters, even sending certified to make sure that I followed up with the appropriate testing. She is a jewel. The front desk is sometimes not as friendly as the old staff was but Dr. Glander and Julie make up for it!

I have been a patient of Dr Glander for 6 years. She had delivered both of my children. My first child was from a successful IVF so of course I wanted the best Doctor I could find and I was extremely pleased. Dr Glander is so caring and thoughtful and I always felt confident in her abilities as my Doctor.

Dr. Glander is possibly the best OB/GYN I have ever dealt with. She is professional and just so easy to get along with. In all my appointments with her, I have never felt more comfortable and safe than in her professional medical care.
