Meet the Staff
My mission is to provide a warm, friendly environment in which to provide exceptional orthodontic care to our patients who come seeking our help.  I am dedicated to providing the highest level of orthodontic care along with a personalized service to each patient.  My patients are of all ages and come from all walks of life, and many surrounding communities.  They truly become a part of my dental family.
We have an enthusiastic office with staff members that have been with us for many years. We provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for our patients and strive to make our patients feel comfortable, during their journey towards a healthy, attractive smile.  We place their needs first in order to meet their treatment goals efficiently.
Education and Continuing Education
I attended Emory University,  graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry in 1980.  My dental education was completed at the …University of Colorado School of Dentistry where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1985.   I graduated cum laude and was elected to the national dental honorary fraternity Omicron Kappa Upsilon.  I completed one full year in a General Practice Residency training program at  the Denver General Hospital, in Denver, Colorado,  finishing in the summer of 1986.  I returned to Wooster and practiced as a general dentist for over 13  years before attending graduate school to  receive my Orthodontic Certificate and Master of Science  (M.S.) degree in Orthodontics from the State University of New York  at Buffalo in 1999.
I strive to take many continuing education courses throughout the year to further my training and education, allowing me to treat my patients to the best of my ability.  It is very important to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances and I regularly attend courses and seminars throughout the country.
Outside the Office
I am originally from Ocean, NJ,  and have lived in Wooster, Ohio  for  over 25 years.  I have raised two beautiful children here in Wooster:, a daughter  Heidi, and a son, Tim.   Both were patients in my practice along with many of their friends and classmates.   When I am not in the office, I enjoy summer sailing on Lake Erie,  sailing to the South Pacific with friends,  running,  biking,  skiing in Colorado,  international travel,  drawing,  photography,  and taking care of my many  adopted pets.
