Dr. Susan Huaihui Huang, MD

Worst experience I had ever had with a doctor, at Kaiser or elsewhere. I went in to get a check up and inquire about birth control. As she was doing the exam she asked me about my job (I work in health tech), and this sent her off on a 15 minute rant ranging from people taking control of their own care (apparently a bad thing in her eyes) to universal healthcare (another big no to her) to the loss of her private practice. I asked in the final moments of the appointment about birth control options and, silly me, asked a follow up question about the option she recommended since I had tried it before and bad previous experience. She patronizingly told me that patients nowadays just think they know too much and that if I wasn’t ready to have a baby I should take her recommendation. I switched my provider immediately on leaving. Not at all surprised her practice closed down.

All I can say is that I was blessed to have had Dr. Susan Huang as my doctor for the past couple of years.

Terrible. Fist thing out of her mouth practically was: "I get off my shift at midnight." Then she said the baby was going to get delivered before she got off shift. Then she kept pushing for a c-section. Claimed that the baby must be too big. Baby was TINY. Gave me too much pitocin when I was only 2cm dialated instead of sending me home to wait. Horrendous sequence of events and ultimately she got her c-section. To top if off, a week later I developed an E-coli infection in my sutures. I wanted to sue the hospital and her. She should not be practicing medicine!

Business is great for her, but means patients (you) need to be quick to tell her you're issue and hope she's really listening. Instead of her focusing your extra 13lb of weight is causing your issue.
