Dr. Susan E Hudak, MD

My family has been going to Dr. Hudak for 11 years now. I was referred to Dr. Hudak when I needed a dentist for my kids ( a 7 year old and a 2 year old at the time) My 2 year old was having some issues with his teeth coming in and Dr. Hudak has been working on his teeth ever since (he is now 13). Dr. Hudak and her staff are wonderful with children no need to find a pediatric dentist if you have her! That being said, me and my husband also have her as our dentist and couldn't be happier! Dr. Hudak has never turned us away in a dental emergency or not returned a phone call right away if needed. My elderly parents also go to her and many other people that I have told about her over the years, I always get a grateful thank you for referring them to her! From the professional, super friendly receptionist ( who is also a wiz with insurance issues) and the great hygienist (all are great), Dr. Hudak's office is a pleasure to visit!

I have used Dr. Hudak since 2003. She has done everything on me to include installing crowns, fillings, etc. I love this dentist. She gives the best shots that you don't even feel while she is giving them. If she is doing a lot of drilling, she will give you Motrin beforehand so you are not so sore afterwards. She has a video eyewear and headphone set to let you watch movies if she is drilling or has a long procedure so to distract you. She will even say, "It's going to get loud now so you might want to turn up the volume" and she will let you stay and finish the movie after she is done if you want. She has plans available to help you pay for things like crowns. My boyfriend, now husband, hated the dentist and hadn't been to one in years from a very bad experience he had from a previous dentist. I got him to go to Dr. Hudak and he is now a regular going every 6 months to keep his teeth in great shape. He loves her too. The only negatives I can say is that her office… management staff has not always been so great throughout the 16 yrs I have been going there. She also doesn't like calling in pre-treatment antibiotics, because she doesn't feel they are needed, when my orthopedic surgeon insists they are a necessary precaution. All in all, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good dentist.

went to pharmacy to pick up prescription. was told that no prescription was called in. Office called me today to confirm tomorrow's appointment. I had not received a call that the prescription was ready but they confirmed that it was called in. If they can't handle that, I have no confidence that the dental work would be any improvement
