There is no zero and zero would based on my person experience would be a gift

I had an apt. and I truly think that I did cancel that appointment. However, I do have terminal cancer, I am 74 years old, and have a disabled child that I am turning over to others for the first time and I am moving out of the area - so it is possible that I had too much on my plate and forgot - but I truly do not think so. I had referred two people to this cold fish and she charges me 50 dollars because I have no proof that I canceled. (she also has no proof) All this lady wants is my money - did not say thanks for the two referrals or give me a finders fee. No this loosely called lady is not nice.

Dr. Iorio misdiagnosed me and after many hospitalizations and tens of thousands of dollars later, she has the audacity to keep sending me a $70 bill! Beware!

Dr Susan Iorio is amazing!

We had an appointment with Dr. Iorio only because the requested doctor couldn't get us in for a month. We both had issues so we made two appointments and we were seen at the same time. She asked a few questions and examined my husband. At the end of the visit I asked her, "Are you also seeing me as a patient?" She replied, "I sure am." Then proceeded to write in the chart. She never looked at my rash \ bites, so I finally summoned her and asked her about a questionable mark on my wrist. She said it was nothing and that was the extent of my examination. We were no intelligent medical assistance. She never mentioned my basal cancer and I doubt she even looked at our charts. My husband has horrible allergies that he provided on the information sheet. Nothing was ever mentioned. Her bedside manner was horrible. We would never go back. She never even mentioned a follow-up appointment for us or suggested any allergy persciptions or remedies. No suggestions from this doctor. I would not… recommend anyone to Dr. Iorio. I forgot to mention that the waiting room was old and dingy. We didn't see any other patients during the time before or after our visit. I wonder why. I wouldn't give this doctor even one star, except that isn't an option.

A waste of my money and time. She walked in, said I should take a certain medication, and then said if I don't, there's not much else she can do and wrote me a refill of antibiotics stating I don't need to come back for a follow up visit. So I just keep taking antibiotics for the rest of my life?? She barely even looked at me while talking to me and was very brief.

I had two warts taken off and was charged $100 for each one. In fairness, Dr Iorio did tell me it might not work the first time but I had no idea of the cost. I could have used an over-the-counter medicine. Instead after 3x it still didn't take. I have an excellent credit rating with a score in the high 700's. Since the office wouldn't work with me, it went to collections. Every time I called the office, they wouldn't work out a negotiation so I never paid it. When I went back I asked to see a different doctor and didn't like his attitude.

I agree the front office staff needs improvement, and these reviews almost prevented me from going, but this practice allowed more time for a new patient appointment than the other practices and I needed a full body check. I had a backup appointment with a different Derm practice the following week in case this appointment didn't work out. The front office staff almost made me leave, but I had traveled some distance and knew I had nothing to lose by waiting to meet Dr. Iorio before making a decision. Front office staff made me tense while waiting for her but Dr. Iorio walked in very quietly, introduced herself, and actually spent time reviewing my chart (as I do with my own patients). She was very thorough and sincerely listened to my every concern. Dr. Iorio is the fourth Dermatologist I have seen in my quest to find a provider I can trust. In case anyone hasn't noticed, many Dermatology practices have a heavy focus on "Medi-Spa" procedures. Fortunately, Dr. Iorio is still interested… in medical dermatology. I'm keeping her...

Horrible experience!

My doctor recommended I see a dermatologist to check some spots on my face, ear and back. I called North Scottsdale Dermatology to schedule an appointment and they scheduled me with Susan Lorio. (They had several appts., available for her the very same day I called.) While in the waiting room I was entertained by the 2 receptionists at the front desk. They passive aggressively made snide remarks to each other while rolling their eyes behind the back of the other. It was obvious by their behavior there was a great deal of tension between them. Thirty minutes past my scheduled time, I was finally escorted to a room to see Dr. Lorio. Fifteen minutes later, Dr. Lorio walked in. Dr. Lorio, she was curt with me asking me why I was there? (She never looked at the paperwork I filled out!) I explained to her that my doctor suggested I see a dermatologist to have some spots evaluated. She then tells me she doesn't have time to give me a full exam but would look at my head and face and I would… have to set up another appointment to be further checked. Whaaat? I was told she had availability times all throughout the day! She looked abruptly at my face with her magnifying glass and said "your fine" and abruptly walked out the door without a saying a word. I just sat there. What just happened? At that point, I just walked out. It was one of the most unprofessional places I'd ever walked into. I found Susan Lorio's behavior to be quite offensive. I only did what I was instructed to do by my own doctor, which was to call and have some things check out. The office staff was stressed and you could feel the tension. The only positive experience was the fish tank in the waiting room. It kept me from looking at all of their posters arrayed throughout the waiting room claiming they are voted #1 top doctors and best rated. What a scam. They feel the need to prove themselves. Good doctors have nothing to prove. I just walked out and have no intention of returning. I ended going to another dermatologist who was brilliant. I would suggest you do too.
