Works purely on side effect management rather than elimination of the worst side effects; seems to see substance abuse as a moral defect that warrants stern rebuke rather than the compassion and care that every other mental health issue does; doesn't listen and doesn't give further recommendations post-appointment; simply makes you wait until the next one, even if consultations with other health providers have changed the understanding of what constitutes proper treatment in your case

Very rude. Somebody else said she is quick to judge, and I agree. She seems to think she knows something all of my previous doctors do not. She is on a path to treat me for a condition I've never been diagnosed with by anyone else, and she refuses to fill a medication I've been taking for over 10 years. She also does not seem to be keeping up in her field. Instead of ordering an MRI as a diagnostic tool, she insists on using outdated, subjective testing. This is not the 80's.

Dr. Jaquez - Dean has an odd "bedside manner" and can often come off as rude. I was willing to overlook this because she came highly recommended as an excellent physician. Unfortunately, she made too many serious medical errors and when I lodged a formal complaint, she refused to refill medications that were necessary. STAY AWAY, I know many doctor's in this field are overworked but there is no excuse for the mistakes that were made. Patient safety is not a priority but over-testing, over-charging and requiring the exact number of visits that your health plan covers is on her agenda.

Honestly, this doctor deserves NO stars. Absolutely worst experiences I have ever had with a physician.

I could write a book about this person who is certified to treat mental health issues. I will keep it simple though, don't waste your time seeing the least compassionate, least persobable,quickest to "judge" Dr that there has ever been. I will not go into details about how let down I was while under her care,but on a positive notw,there are more competent and compassionate and accurate psychiatrist in Green Bay!!!

Going to a doctor is never a pleasant experience, and having anxiety and seeing this doctor do not go together. For the most part, I get along with people and this has led me to much success in a career. During my appointments with Dr. Jacquez-Dean I would feel that she was arguing with me. At the time, I was trying to taper off my antidepressants. This did not sit well with this doctor. It is my body, and I know there are choices on how I want to take care of it. Pharmaceutical companies know their products are harmful and cause long term harmful and bothersome effects. Dr. Jacquez refused to treat me any longer as a patient because i did not believe in following her plan. Tapering off antidepressants is no joke. The withdrawal symptoms are horrifying. I would have preferred that my doctor respect my decision after educating me and work with me during a difficult time. During my appointments, I also came to feel that Dr. Jacquez-Dean lacks empathy for her patients. … Everybody knows that traffic accidents will cause delays. I understand that doctors are busy people with valuable time, so I always made it a priority to arrive a few minutes early. I ended up being ten minutes late for this appointment, in which I called to inform the receptionist of the tardiness. When I arrived, I waited nearly one hour in the waiting room until I was told that the doctor would not see me because I was not on time. I was content leaving this doctor.

Dr. Jacquez-Dean is a little quirky at first, but I have found her to be incredibly helpful at correctly diagnosing my Bi-polar Disorder & getting me on an effective medication. I have seen her for 4 yrs. and her care and concern have been evident to me. She always takes whatever time I need during appointments. She has a great memory and follows through communicating with and to my other physicians. I respect her immensely.

I've seen a handful of psychiatrists and this is one I would avoid. She lacks sympathy, pushes medication, makes threats to dismiss patients if they do not follow orders, such as taking medication when not necessary. What happened to my rights as a patient?

Overall she seems to have poor listening skills and a poor bedside manner. Never smiles. Did not take my crisis call. Instead her nurse called me back 30 mins later and told me to make an appointment with my familly doctor. Not pleased.
