Dr. Susan Louise Johnson, MD

Not a specific visit review, more of an overview. All immunization records are lost or misplaced. The only high resolution pictures of the missing piece of the chromosome (long arm of the 15th) are also missing. The wait time is usually short, but I always leave feeling like I missed something. Requests for records are constantly ignored/lost or never acknowledged. I only have handwritten records in my journals, NOT acceptable for SSI and Medicaid. What should our next step be? JBM

They’re horrible. First the receptionist treat you like crap. Second they just gave me some scary test results that they knew about for two years and didn’t tell me until two years later. Couldn’t even give me an explanation. They knew they were in the wrong you could tell by the dodging. The office manager had no empathy whatsoever. She sounded like some corporate HR no heart representative. All she kept saying was mhhhmmm and wouldn’t even talk through the phone. I eventually just hung up. If you go here just be prepared to be treated like a number because all they care about is the Visa card. They shouldn’t be in the medical practice if this is how they are to patients. People put trust in doctors and for a doctor to just ignore your results for two years is unacceptable.

I wouldn’t go here unless you want to get a call about your gynecology check up to say you have abnormal cell growth. Then be told that you’ve had it for two years and no one from the office contacted you. That’s what happened to me. Thanks dr. Johnson for me putting trust in you and you letting abnormal cell growth go on for two years in my vagina without telling me. If you go here be prepared to be ignored and just give them money and then have them put your life at risk.

I like Dr Johnson, but every one of the nurses I saw and the people who would call you from her office were the rudest people I have ever spoken too. One of them even hung up on me!

Very personable. Spent extra time just visiting with me. Encourages me to achieve health hoals. I am very comfortable with her. Treats me as an ewual.

I have had positive and negative experiences here. I was properly diagnosed and treated for MRSA. I had a pre-op physical here, and was misdiagnosed as having an enlarged heart (cardiologist said I have a large heart because I am 6'2" 280#). This office does not touch anything associated with workers' compensation. I had back surgery a year ago and shoulder surgery 6 months ago; both surgeons have released me from their care but I still have a lot of pain from these injuries. One is work comp and this office won't touch it; for the other they ordered a MRI for my back and said as they see no pathology they won't treat me for pain. Like I imagined the pain and couldn't wait to pony up $2K for a MRI. I neither abuse narcotics nor am I hooked on them; I come from a family of addicts and even though I have my own addictions, they are not to narcotics. I'm addicted to NOT HURTING! Anything more than strep throat, I would have to encourage you to find a different doctor.
