Dr. Susan Marla Kattlove

I am a long- time patient of Dr Kattlove, and was given medications with serious side effects. Medications that also made me tired, irritable, and gain weight. Also I was prescribed a medication that can permanently worsen a condition that I had by affecting the dopamine in my brain. She wrote a strange and disturbing email in response to a childhood memory of my mother, which has upset me terribly, I have asked five times for my medical records since May, and was told they are "irrelevent" and I can't have them. I feel she has caused me harm which no medical provider should ever do to a patient.

Susan Kattlove has been an excellent doctor for me, both for medication needs and for therapy. After years of being incorrectly diagnosed and treated by other doctors, Dr. Kattlove's diagnosis of my illness was incredibly accurate and timely. I have had great success with the medications she has prescribed and she is incredibly adept at adjusting and changing meds appropriately. As a therapist, Dr. Kattlove is wonderfully compassionate while allowing plenty of space to fully experience one's feelings without distraction. She is focused, centered, and firmly grounded. She is able, like no one I have ever met, to be fully in the present moment with her patient. The relationship between doctor and patient with all it's intricacies is the most important part of this therapy, the place from where all growth seems to come. Dr. Kattlove takes this relationship and its parameters very seriously and it's value to her quickly becomes obvious. She puts as much (at times more) effort and… energy into this therapeutic work as the patient and the results I have seen in my life over the past six or so years are beyond what I could have hoped for myself.

I have seen Dr. Kattlove for 7 years for an anxiety disorder. I believe her caring treatment has been one of the main reasons for me getting better. I would highly recommend her.
