Summary

Dr. Susan Kennedy began her career far from the chiropractic path.  She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a business degree in 2002.  After several years working as an IT consultant, Dr. Kennedy realized that, while she enjoyed parts of her job, something was missing.  She had a desire to work more directly with people, and more specifically, to better the lives of those she worked with.  Thus, she began her journey to chiropractic.  Dr. Kennedy attended National University of Health Sciences, first completing all the requisite sciences courses, then diving into the chiropractic curriculum, and finally graduating Magna Cum Laude.  Along the way, she also completed her certification for acupuncture.

Dr. Kennedy is certified in the Webster technique and currently pursuing her Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP), not simply to add an acronym after her name but to continue her education in the area of pediatrics and pregnancy.  The education that accompanies the certification enables Dr. Kennedy to provide the best, most up-to-date care to all her patients, especially those undergoing such rapid developmental changes.

As the name Kennedy Family Chiropractic might suggest, family is important to Dr. Kennedy.  She and her husband are fortunate to have 5 lovely children, lovely and very silly.  If Dr. Kennedy had any free time, she would attend all sorts of concerts and travel regularly.  But for now, the kids’ lip syncing and dance routines are entertainment enough.
