Dr. Susan Kinkead Acree, MD

I saw Dr K-A for approximately 10 visits when a family event triggered flashbacks I had not had in years. I observed Dr K-A as I have training in Pastoral Counseling & Psycholinguistics. Dr K-A does not integrate material she receives auditorially; she seems to regard written material-- whether textbook or Google search-- as authoritative. She over-generalized about me on the basis of her diagnosis. When I tried to correct factually erroneous assumptions she made, she would not stop arguing despite the irrationality of her arguments. I learned to appreciate my previous "generalist" psychiatrist better & returned to his care after megadoses of vitamin D Dr K'A prescribed for made me extremely I'll. She can talk a lot ABOUT therapy; she lacks the cognitive attributes to administer it effectively. She seems incapable of Reflexive Listening, an indispensable skill.

I have been very pleased with my continued success with my sessions with Dr. Kinkead-Acree. She is professional and caring and goes above and beyond with treatment. I will continue to recommend her to family and friends.

Dr. Kinkead-Acree's approach to medicine and healing has done wonders for me. Her office is beautiful and she truly cares about work. She takes the time needed to sort through situations and I would definitely recommend her to friends and family and will continue to return to her!
