Susan D. Klugman, MD

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Klugman. She has a very rude demeanor. When I checked into the office, I heard her barking at her secretaries and treating them very poorly. I also overheard her yell at another patient saying she may not get her results because she was obese. There were ways to convey both messages in a more tactful manner. Second, I had a borderline result and she failed to recheck the sonogropher's measurements or to attempt to see if my baby would get into the more appropriate position to recheck the accuracy of the measurements. There were supposed to be three separate measurements to check the accuracy and we only got two. She gave me news about the borderline results and literally said she had no time to talk and just walked out the door. It was apparent through her questions of the sonographer that she had not even reviewed the images. In all honesty, I'm not even sure she is qualified to perform or review the scans she did as my insurance company denied… the claim saying she did not have such qualifications. However, she certainly doesn't have the appropriate bedside manner for her job and does not perform due diligence to ensure the accuracy of the measurements she is trying to obtain. I've never met such a terrible doctor in my life and urge you to stay away. I'm not sure who would rate her highly and it is interesting that those high ratings left no comments.
