Dr. Kohls and her staff should get 10 stars

They make a big deal about reminding you about your upcoming appointment (can't have any no-shows, you know), but don't bother to confirm that Dr. Kohls will be there. Made an appointment after my last visit (about 6 months ago) and specifically requested that I only wanted to see Dr. Kohls (during a previous appointment that was supposed to be with Dr. Kohls, she was "out of the office" that day, so another dentist I HAD NEVER MET BEFORE saw me). I received a reminder in the mail about 3 weeks ago, and called to verify the time AND THAT I WOUDL BE SEEING DR. KOHLS (and not another dentist). Received yet another reminder via a call on Monday, at which time NO MENTION WAS MADE THAT DR. KOHLS WOULD NOT BE IN ON WEDNESDAY (the day of my appointment). I arrived on time, was taken back for a fill series of x-rays, and then was informed that Dr. Kohls was again AWOL for my scheduled appointment. As I didn't want to see yet another strange dentist I had never met or knew anything… about, I left, after informing the office staff that my appointment WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WITH DR. KOHLS, and why wasn't I told when they called on Monday that Dr. Kohls would not be in on Wednesday? The x-ray tech said Dr. Kohls' husband was having hip surgery that day - but they didn't know that when they called me on Monday?? Guess the Kohls woke up Wednesday morning, and her husband said "I think I'll have some hip surgery today". Stand me up once, shame on me. Do it again, shame on you. As Dr. Kohls hasn't called to profusely apologize and re-schedule my cleaning and exam, I guess I'll need to find another dentist (and perhaps my wife will change as well). I honestly thought that I found my "forever" dentist - instead she apparently is willing to write me off. Quite treating us as a patient (i.e. you're doing us a big favor by seeing and treating us), and instead treat us for what we actually are - your CUSTOMERS. Without your CUSTOMERS (who have numerous other dental providers to choose from), you would be out of business.

I am a senior citizen and have and have been treated by other dentists over the years. Susan Kohls has been my dentist for over 15 years and is the best in all respects by far. I am treated respectfully by the staff, and Susan is always kind and concerned about me and my dental well being. She knows my history, accommodates my needs, refers me to those who might have more expertise for a specialty procedures and directs how best to maintain good dental hygiene. I have all of my teeth and enjoy overall good dental health but I also have undergone repairs for tooth decay, crowns, and a few root canals. All were successful. I would recommend Dr. Kohls highly for primary dental treatment.

I'm and adult and I thought she looked so pretty and sweet. I had the dental NIGHTMARE OF MY LIFE here. I won't go into detail, but just let me say that I probably had enough information to sue.

I know this dentists has many glowing reviews, but I am the down side of that. BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO THERE! I had an extremely NEGATIVE dental experience in this DENTIST'S CHAIR. I would recommend her to NO ONE. ESPECIALLY NOT parents with CHILDREN. She looks like, here is this nice sweet young lady dentist who will take the best care in the world of you, but that is NOT the case. I became so upset that I had a grand mal seizure in her treatment suite. I CAN NOT DESCRIBE THE SEVERE PAIN, AND TERROR, FROM A ' MISTAKE' BY ONE OF HER ASSISTANTS, WHICH Dr. Kohls ORDERED (against my clearly stated directives ) and which she justifies. I have had a recent nightmare over this horrific episode. I am looking into the possibility of legal action, and possibly in turning this manner over to the State Board.
