Dr. Susan E Kranzpiller, MD

I went to a new patient appointment with Dr. Kranzpiller. I sent my records in advance, and also filled out a lot more paperwork at the office. When I went into the appointment, it did not appear she had reviewed the material. Instead of asking about my current medical state, she started with medications. I have several health issues, including chronic pain from multiple sources. I need pain treatment in order to be able to keep working. I take tramadol, a lightly regulated schedule IV drug for the pain, because it is the only reliable drug I have used (and I have tried many). I have been on the medication for years and take the lowest dosage a few times a day. She told me it was dangerous and I needed to get off of it. She told me she would loose her license if she prescribed it for me. Well, I will loose my job if I don't get my medication. Also, being concerned that it could be addictive, I had asked my old doctor and long time pharmacist about it over a year ago, and they did… not think my use was abusive. She did not ask much about what was causing my pain, or what other treatments I had tried (and I have tried physical therapy, accupuncture, botox treatments, cortisone shots, and a bunch of other drugs.) My tramadol was almost out, and she condescended to write me a 30 day supply and sent me to a pain specialist. Now I have to go the pain specialist every 4 weeks for my medication and pee in a cup for a drug test for each visit. I don't appreciate being treated like a drug addict, and I won't be going back to her.

Very caring doctor

Dr. Kranzpillar is by far the best doctor I have ever had. She has an amazing bedside manner, she listens and cares about all your concerns. My mother recommended her to me about 5 -6 years ago. I couldn't be happier. She takes time to learn about her patients and seriously CARES!!! She always makes me feel comfortable to discuss anything, she is always polite, and best of all you NEVER feel like you are being herded in and out. She sits down, talks, and listens, she makes you feel like there is no pressure to hurry and get out. With that being said- she makes all her patients feel that way so she is usually running late, but she is well worth the wait. There have been previous reviews that put Dr. Kranzpiller in poor light- those people must be talking about someone else. There is NO WAY SHE COULD OF DONE OR ACTED the way other reviews have given. I am proud and privileged to call Dr. Kranzpiller my doctor and I wish I could give her more than 5 stars, she is an excellent doctor!

Dr. Kranzpillar is a very thoughtful and good listener. She has excellent bedside manner and is very thorough. I have been seeing her for a few years and have no experience close to negative. Great doctor.

I have been with Dr Kranzpiller for two years. This is the first doctor I have had that listens to me and has a great beside manner. I recently had a serious head trauma and she took her time taking out my stitches and putting the steri strips on. She is thorough and kind.

I happened to see the previous review while looking up her address, and had to write a rebuttal. Yes, I had to wait a few months for an appointment but it was worth it. I was very impressed with her knowledge and approach to my medical concerns. Her medical skills are sound in my opinion. I came to the appointment having read in advance, and her remarks were scientifically correct and thoughtful. Many physicians are not good listeners, but I thought she was excellent in that regard. I give her four stars, and I've no idea why that last reviewer was so vicious.

Dr. Kranzpiler is by far one of the worst physicians ever appointed by the medical board. To start, she comes off very nice and caring, but as soon as you begin to express your issues-which is why you go see your doctor to begin with-she makes things personal. She refuses to see her patients, gives them 3-4 month waiting period for follow-up appointments or refuses to see you. I have not only heard from multiple patients that she's terrible in general, my family and i had the "PLEASURE" of experiencing it first hand.She recently became my mothers doctor, and lets just say its been the worst few months ever. She has absolutely no experience in diagnosing her pts. because we took into consideration a "diagnosis" she made of one of my family members, and as we took another opinoin via a doctor at the ER...her entire diagnosis was false. She basically told my family member they had a serious illness-near fatal...but that was absolutely false. Imagine the mindset she left our family in. IF… she's your last resort as a physician...i recommend you go to the ER every week, as opposed to seeing her. IF you ever THINK ABOUT MAKING AN APPT. and shes not in her MOOD TO SEE YOU...she suggests and i QUOTE "if you don't feel well, go to the ER"...IF that's the reason everyone became a doctor....the world would have plenty of sick people.Her entire licensing is a shame...she shouldn't even be allowed to practice. WORD TO THE WISE, CHANGE HER AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN...OR SAVE YOURSELF THE EMOTIONAL DISTRESS AND DO NOT BE TREATED BY HER...
