Dr. Susan Latimer
A native Texan, Dr. Susan Latimer attended Baylor University and the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate education, and graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1996. She was then selected to continue her education in a general practice residency at Hermann Hospital. Dr. Latimer entered private practice as an associate with Drs. Darrell and Chet Hawkins in Clear Lake. She also serverd as part-time clinical instructor at the University of Texas Dental Branch. Since 2000, when Latimer Dental Arts was established, Dr. Latimer has dedicated herself to full-time private practice. She is currently working on completion of a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and serves as a consultant for the University Dental Clinic at Hermann Hospital. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. She recently graduated with honors from the Hornbrook Group's …Comprehensive Aesthetic Program. This distinguished national program provides hands-on training in cosmetic dentistry, focusing on treating and understanding how to treat complex cases as well as ensuring predictable aesthetic results for patients. Only 1% of dentists nationwide graduate from this type of advanced training institute. Dr. Latimer is an accomplished pianist and violist and performs with the Doctor's Orchestra of Houston. She also enjoyes spending time with her family and friends in the neighborhood.
