Dr. Susan Lee, MD

My mother moved from Long Island, New York to Bethlehem,Pa and needed a Rheumatologist. We had our first visit with Dr. Lee on Jan 6,2021 and we were very satisfied with the doctor. She is very patient, attentive, expert in her field, and a great listener. Thank you so much Patricia K

I went in for 'abnormal test results' (ANA positive) and I was told that she believed that it was a false positive. All throughout my appointment, she seemed to only listen to small bits what I was describing with all of my current symptoms. Ranging from minor rashes that I wanted to ask about, severe pain that spreads throughout miscellaneous parts of my body, to sudden and random fevers and fits of vomiting. I couldn't complete a full sentence without being told to simply take ibuprofen. I was then tested again for ANA (which ultimately still came back positive), expecting to continue working with her to figure out some of the issues I was and still am experiencing. Though I was told that I would be coming back to see her if I still had a positive reading, I have been essentially 'ghosted' by her and the staff. I still suffer to this day with a multitude of things, working with a number of specialists who ultimately needed me to work with a rheumatologist. I'm greatly disappointed in… the care that I was given, and to this day I still try to convince myself that I just need to take a painkiller instead of facing the issues head-on.

Dr. Lee was already waiting in the room when I was brought in to the exam room. This is the first doctor that ever greeted me immediately. She was friendly, concerned, caring. She spent as much time as needed to evaluate my condition and status. Explained everything in terms I could understand, including the 'where we go from here'. She walked me to the lab and my appointment was waiting for me when I was done. NOTE: The person taking my blood was exceptional! I have a low tolerance for pain and didn't feel a thing. After only a few of the lab results were in, Dr. Lee called me to go over the results BEFORE my next appointment with concerns and a plan of action. Best Doctor I've ever had!
