Dr. Susan Amy Leitner, MD

Dr. Lietner misdiagnosed my son's condition. During our first meeting with her (45 min late) last Wed. Sept. 29, she said my son has hand, foot and mouth disease. Scared and concern, I informed his school and the school sent a corresponding blanket communication to all. Two days later, I insisted to Dr. Lietner that she must have confused my son's eczema marks to the hand, foot and mouth disease and that the fever must have been caused by teething. My son continued to be super active, had a great appetite, happy and playful. I asked for another meeting. And a different doctor in the same clinic cleared my son as not contagious but not admitting that Dr. Leitner misdiagnosed my son. This mistake created disruption not only in my household but also in his school. If she can not see the difference between eczema and hand-foot-mouth disease, then I think she should go back to medical school. She was also unprofessional in our first meeting, curt, and goggling between reading my son's… background in her computer and stressing because her son missed his school ride. I would like to sympathize with her as I am also a parent, but during my visit, I expect her to focus on my child's welfare than hers.

She seems like she doesn’t care for the patient at all! We brought our baby and she was in a rush all the time, not caring at all ..we will change her immediately

My kids, now 8 and 11, have been patients of Dr. Leitner since they were born. She has always taken great care of them. Two weeks ago, I brought in my daughter who had been having stomach issues. Dr. Leitner ran some tests and we finally got to the root of the problem. I came in frazzled and she was caring, sensitive and made me feel at ease. Not to mention that both of my kids adore her! I know that I can always count on Dr. Leitner to take the best care of my kids! I highly recommend!

Very cold, speaks to you like you are “less”. In all honesty, she barely belongs in the medical profession much alone in pediatrics. Doesn’t care at all about the child and dismessss everything the parent says and she continues pushing her own agenda. She is in a rush to get out. Zero bedside manners. The worst doctor I have ever encountered.

Dr. Lietner is an exceptional physician. A mother herself, she is very perceptive and understanding. My baby had some healthy complications during the first three months of her life and Dr. Leitner not only helped my child get passed it, but she also provided me with the moral support I needed to cope with the issue. She's very attentive, patient and informative. I adore her, and highly recommend her as a physician.

I have been taking my children to Pediatric Associates for the past 8 years. Over the years, my children have gotten to know the doctors (mostly Dr. Susan) and the staff well enough to feel very comfortable each time they go there. This last visit, my older daughter had to have blood drawn. No flinching, no tears, no drama. Thank you for treating my family like we are apart of your family. My children have less anxieties about "going to the doctor" and giving them extra stickers at the end of the appointment is a bonus in all our books.

She has been my twins Dr. since they were born.. Even though I moved out of the area I still drive the distance to see her... Great Dr. My kids liove her..:)
