Dr. Susan Han Mah, MD

The first and last appointment I had with her, she was at least twenty minutes late and only spent like five minutes with me. She rushed me off to my health concerns and questions that I had and literally was answering me at the top of the opened door trying to leave.

Like many others have pointed out, Dr. Mah does not have good bedside manner to the point that it could negatively impact patient care. Visits with her are often rushed. She does not listen to everything you have to say, rushes to decisions and suggestions and doesn't bother with the "discussing with patients" part. She also comes off as patronizing when you raise concerns or asks additional questions. This is particularly dangerous because it discourages me from even wanting to raise concerns.

I HAVE BEEN WITH DOCTOR MAH FOR ABOUT 20YRS AND I LOVE HER WITH ALL MY HEART. DOCTOR MAH HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME AS MY DOCTOR AND FREIND SHE IS LIKE FAMILY TOO ME. SHE HAS ALWAYS TOLD ME THE TRUTH ABOUT MYSELF NOT SUGAR COATING ANYTHING ABOUT MY HEALTH AND WHAT I NEEDED TO CHANGE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REAL DOCTOR WHO CARES WITH HER HEART DOCTOR MAH WOULD BE GREAT I HOPE DOCTOR MAH WILL STAY AROUND WITH KAISER FOR A VERY LONG TIME BECAUSE I TRUST DOCTOR MAH WITH MY LIFE.

Dr. Mah, is very rude and unprofessional. She should doesn’t provide the “patient centered care” that she was trained to do and what we pay for her to provide! She should be a different type of Dr. where she doesn’t have to have 1:1 patient care interaction,

She is highly unresponsive to emails. I would suggest choosing another doctor that actually shows they care for their patients.

Everytime I've seen Dr. Susan Mah (about 10 visits), I've left feeling completely unhelped or cared for. Her knowledge and ability as a doctor is considerably lacking. Her bedside manner is absolutely appauling, often patronizing me when I address her with legitimate concerns. When she is unable to diagnose a problem she, rather that acting concerned and taking futher steps, marginalizes your problem. Extraordinarily unprofessional and rude, seemingly quite unqualified, Dr. Mah is the worst doctor I have ever visited. Having recently switched to a new gerneal physician that is wonderful, I have to say that the difference a good doctor can make is extraordinary. If you are currently seeing Dr. Mah, I highly reccommend changing physicians, you will be happy you did!
