Having had several other psychiatrists in the past, I can honestly say that Dr. Marcel is an excellent caregiver. She is truly concerned about her patients, and is willing to work with me on solutions rather than just prescribing medication and telling me to take it. She is also willing to take the time to explain why she is recommending a particular treatment, and to listen when I have concerns. She helped me through a very difficult time and is still here for me now that I am doing better. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Marcel!

Dr. Marcel is an excellent physician who gives high quality care. Her insight and skills are rare. She is devoted to healing her patients and does not deal with symptoms alone but addresses the whoe person.

If you are looking for a caring and professional psychiatrist look elsewhere! Dr. Marcel could care less about her patients, all she cares about is her own comfort. Her diagnoses are short-sighted and are inaccurate. After getting multiple other professional opinions on my concerns, I am disgusted to look back and think of the "clinical care" I received from Dr. Marcel. Please, if you need mental health treatment or you are looking for treatment for a loved one, stay far away from this woman. She should not be practicing medicine.

Dr. Marcel is one of the best psychiatrists I've ever had. It's incredibly difficult to find a psychiatrist who can also conduct themselves as actual therapists for their patients, and Dr. Marcel excelled at this. I saw her for four months and would have seen her for longer had I not moved to another city. I'm only sad that I hadn't discovered her sooner. She's an incredible doctor and respects her patients, and her bedside manner is great; none of that talking-down-to-you crap that tends to go on in the mental health world.

Dr. Marcel was extremely rude and arrogant to me and my family members. She is also dangerous in that she left medication out in the open when preschoolers were present. She is highly unethical and I am going to report her to the AMA.
