Dr. Susan Anne Mcmanus, MD

Apparently there are post-surgery findings and diagnoses that demand followup by the surgeon and 'associates' (e.g. oncologists). Don't expect that from Dr. McManus - schedule is priority one and surgery schedule is above all. No followup on severe findings? Maybe that's why she's no longer associated with a find Cancer Center in my area. The Oncologist followed up - and big time.

Dr Susan McManus diagnosed me with breast cancer and her staff only wanted to schedule surgery, chemo and radiation and didn’t want to give pathology results, her staff gave me the run around and only wanted to scheduled surgery. I found another Dr and I got a second, re-did tests and did not have breast cancer. Beware of Dr McManus and her staff.

I have lumpectomy done today by Dr McManus, the pain is minimal. When I first starting searching a surgeon, I was skeptical about Dr McManus due negative reviews. When I met her the first time during consultation, she’s warm, nice, thorough, I decided to stay with her when she called me with the biopsy result. I have no regret for my decision. And, the whole team in St Peter’s Breast Center are amazing!

This is more about the staff handful of people are very kind and compassionate but there’s a few that need to check their stone personalities at the door.

Dr. McManus is one of the most caring people I have ever met. She can be no nonsense but she listens to her patients. I would give her and her staff more than 5 stars if it would allow me to.

After multiple surgies in Philadelphia, with horrible experiences , I decided to switch to Dr. McManus. She was so caring and made me feel like I was human and not just “a patient”. She spent a lot of time explaining everything. Breast cancer is so scary, and we trust our doctors. I am scheduled for a double mastectomy with her, and I feel at ease knowing she will be performing this surgery. I feel she is an angel sent to me after what I have been through. Dr. McManus was highly recommended by a wide array of professionals and friends. I secured an appointment very quickly after receiving a positive biopsy report. I found her staff incredibly knowledgeable and very professional and astute. I'm demanding and she and her staff met my expectations.

I am a 77 year old female, and in my experiences over the years have NEVER been more pleasant. Dr. McManus and her entire staff are the most pleasant, caring, professional. Just to mention in the biopsy area Cindy (don't know last name), Sheila Jasmin, Dr. Chin, other staff members that I did not get their names. So when I say the entire staff I include them all. Dr. McManus is very thorough, and understanding, and listens to you and answers any questions. I would recommend the doctor and office staff most definitely. I am waiting for results of a biopsy and I understand that I shall know as soon as they know. Thank you for everything and listening.

Couldn't of asked for a better staff and a better Dr everything was 5 star treatment !!

After giving me a confirmation of PCOS with possible glandular affects, could not schedule a followup appointment for 4 months. My current doctor has reported this to whatever authorities exist for such callous neglect.
