this women is a Hero with Super Doctor powers....

This doctor does not listen to patient complaints, misses diagnosed because of this. She is gruff dealing with patients.

in1998 dr melin said if i was alive in ten years she would be happy. i am still alive 13 years later. she was excellant with me allways finding the correct treatment the last one was taxel. she listened and encouraged me when i was upset. i now live in england and think of her often. i had my treatments in norfolk va.

This is a doctor that wants to dictate not communicate with the patient. I saw her 3 times and none of my appointments were on time. I waited 2 hours for one. She did not want to listen to any of my concerns, she just wanated to do the standard treatment but I was told that I had an unusual case. Beware!!

My wife was under Dr. Melin's care for breast cancer for about six years. Sadly, the cancer took my wife. My wife could not have received better care than under that of Dr. Melin and her staff. Dr. Melin is one of a handful of people for whom I would give my life.

I owe her my life -- twice. Her specialty is oncology, but she checks for and assists in resolving any physical (or mental) issue which may impact her treatment. Even tho my cancer is NED presently, a primary criteria for selecting my retirement location is that it be within a reasonable distance of her practice. I'm unfortunate to have a threat of recurrent cancer, but so very fortunate to be her patient.
