Very personable; listens to concerns and doesn't dismiss my concerns about kids. Will take all the time necessary to help resolve any issues.

Very good doctor with very poor administration staff. Making appointments and or trying to get a document for school is almost impossible. Expect many calls and hours on hold and then disconnected or placed into message center!!! Support staff is about the worst in NC which does not say much since I have never lived in a state with such lack of job pride or respect to patience.

Dr. Owensby was my sons pediatrician from birth until about 8 years old. She has the most wonderful bedside manner. Sweet, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. She referred me to another doctor when my son was diagnosed with ADHD and needed specialized care. I would highly recommend Dr. Owensby to any family or friend who was looking for an excellent doctor!

I can not speak of Dr. Owensby unfortunately. She has very good reviews and thought she would be a good option for our children. Unfortunately I could not get past the roadblock of the office staff. I work for a Christian International non-profit and will be back in the US for 6 months and our children will need medical care while stateside. The staff said they would not see us because we're not staying long term. Fine, I understand. However, its UNACCEPTABLE being HUNG UP mid-sentence, while asking a further clarifying questions.

My son is 13. He has Down's Syndrome. She has been with us from the beginning-making us knowledgeable of special clinics, health guidelines, etc. The entire staff is EXTREMELY nice and helpful. Anytime we need forms, referrals, quick appointment,.. ANYTHING, it's done. TOP NOTCH PROFESSIONAL!!!

Dr.Owensby is a GREAT doctor. Se is always so caring and understanding! If anyone ask me if I know a great peditricain I always say Dr.Owensby! Thanks for being a person I can trust!!
