Dr. Susan Todd Peeler, MD

Dr. Peeler was so patient and informative when answering the questions I had. She put me at ease during the exam and is very knowledgeable. It’s clear she has the patient’s medical best interest as her top priority. Highly recommend her.

This has to be the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. Dr. Peeler is condescending and just rude. Her lack of compassion and the fact that she does not listen to her patients concerns is sickening. This woman is ice cold, the look on her face when your talking screams that she really could care less. I went into my follow up appointment with her with a list of my periods activity/pain level/ and regiment that I go through every month for excruciatingly painful periods. I had an ultrasound completed by another doctor in 2017 and I had just completed a recent one ordered by Dr. Peeler to compare the two. I am 48, so my child bearing years are far behind me. She said that there was not any evidence that my period was causing me any pain and that I could be having "phantom" pain, or that the pain could be coming from somewhere else. I am NOT interested in an IUD, I wanted my uterus removed. Then she recommended that I see a pain management specialist because my monthly… lower back pain has nothing to do with my uterus. I asked her why she bothered to have me come in the office to tell me this in person when she could have just said this in a MyChart email? Finally, she SLAMMED her laptop shut and said "we're don here". So unprofessional. I noticed her reviews from 2017 were very good, and the recent reviews were very very poor. Something must have happened to this woman, because she is absolutely terrible.

I have been going to Dr. Peeler for the last 13 years. I find her to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I have seen the comments about her bedside manner and I can see where some people might take that as not being warm. She is a top doc in her field and though she may not have warm conversations with you, she is professional and kind. I want a doctor who knows their field and is rated highly by their peers, I don't go looking for a friend. I believe she saved my life by doing the proper procedures to prevent my precancerous cells from turning into full blown cancer. That is what i go to a doctor for!

Dr. Peeler is a wonderful doctor. I saw her years ago during my pregnancies and recently saw her in her new office on Bestgate Rd. She is highly skilled and very compassionate. Her new office location is super convenient and her staff is great. In a town where there is a shortage of good doctors, I am grateful for Dr. Peeler. Wish she could be my primary care doctor as well!

Very condescending and would not listen. Right away told me to go on birth control pills when I refused she didn't want to talk to me anymore. Later I found out I was having thyroid issues. Thanks goodness I didn't listen to her and go on the pill!

I went to Dr. Peeler for years and early on I couldn’t say more great things about her. I referred her to many friends who have since stopped going to her and found other doctors as I have. As years went by her demeanor changed and she became a doctor with little patience, no bedside manner and rude and condescending. She was out for a while after an accident she was in. After she returned something changed. I trusted her with my health. After a surgery I lost all trust with her follow through and some issues I’m still having. Do your research. There are better doctors out there.

I finally left Peeler due to her lack of genuine kindness. I trusted her with my daughter who went to her for her first GYN appt. Dr. Peeler knee it was her first visit yet she failed to explain the process, what she was doing as she was doing it and was mean and rude when my daughter jump when touched - she was 16!!! Peeler is a horrible doctor - period!

Dont waste your time and money on Dr. Peeler. Saw her twice. First time was fine. Had chronic pelvic pain for almost two years. Dr Peeler basically dismissed me after I told her my symptoms. She did not even think it was a gyno issue!!! Well I went to another obgyn practice WHO DID listen and after looking at my imaging and hearing my symptoms highly suspected I had endometriosis!!!! Into laparoscopy and sure enough it was! Dr peeler doesnt listen to her patients. Stay away

My advice to anyone seeking a gyn dr is if it’s something real easy, Dr Peeler may be able to fix it but if there’s a problem this isn’t a good dr. I have been having irregular bleeding for 4 weeks straight and I have a family history of ovarian cancer. My maternal grandmother died of it at 42 yrs and my mother had a hysterectomy at 38. I went to Dr Peeler for answers and she wanted to give me an examination. I refused the examination because I did not want to start bleeding even worse than I already was. I physically couldn’t handle having that big plastic thing shoved up me when I’m having my period! I was shocked that she wanted to do the examination after I was very specific in telling her why I was there (family history of ovarian cancer; irregular bleeding; period for a whole month) which is why I scheduled a consultation not an examination. I’m so grateful for my family care dr who scheduled an ultrasound right away. Going to a Dr Peeler was a complete waste of my time because… she never addressed the issue of ovarian cancer and trying to shove a big plastic thing up me when I’ve been bleeding for 4 weeks...that was just wrong on so many levels. I highly DON’T recommend this doctor!????
