Dr. Susan Ann Reisinger, MD

I had to wait quite a long time (over an hour to see the doc)but it was my initial visit. I was getting VERY bored, and frustated but once I met with Dr. Reisenger I realized it was worth it- she's awesome. I sure hope, though, that once I start radiation, it's pretty much "in and out."

I was treated by her in 2003 with radiation to my thigh whaich was removed from cancer and 4 years later my femur bone broke and now I am at high risk of amputation.

The staff made me remove my wig for treatment because they were unaware of available hair prosthetics available for people who have lost all of their hair.My wig has a baseball cap with hair attatched.My hair was shaved yestrday. I told them it was a wig. They made me take it off for no reason. It was very humiliating forme for the whole staff to at see my bald head. The staff should be well educated on available prosthetics since they are in the business of cancer. Having cancer is bad enough. Their pay checks are the same no matter how much they hurt people. When I called to find out why they made me remove the wig theylied and told me initially it was because of the way I have to lay on the radiation table. The story changed when they called to leave me a message. The excuse now is they did not know the cap and wig were one piece.
