Dr. Susan St Clair Roper, MD

My experience with Dr. Roper has always been exceptional. She is very friendly and professional. She also does all procedures herself. Her nurses and staff are very friendly as well. I have not had any rude encounters with Dr. Roper or anyone at her office and I have been seeing her for many years. I will continue to do so as she is excellent and I highly recommend her.

I have always had excellent results! Dr. Roper personally does the procedures and I like that. Very friendly doctor and staff. I may have to wait to see her; however, she is worth the wait. I highly recommend Dr. Susan Roper!

Dr. Roper has been my Dermatologists for nearly 30 years. She is very thorough, and takes time to explain her findings and treatment plan. I would recommend her highly, and would not consider any other Dermatologist.

Dr used wrong laser on my face, even good make up can't cover the discoloration. It has caused me so much stress since I can't do my rourtine outdoor activities and limited my social activities. It might be permanent.

Dr Roper was confrontational with our conversation when I would ask questions regarding possible Cancer. Egotistic, rude, non compassionate! I left in tears!!!! Don't go! Maybe all those fillers in her face are making her bedside manner an angry one.

Had three different appointments with her and every single one was at least an hour wait. She needs to realize that patients time is equally as valuable as hers. While sitting in our clinic other patients were having the same complaints over and over again

So memorable for a few BAD reasons! When the office called to remind me of app't, the staff cited the wrong body part (not both arms - just one). Told them then, only one arm. Office person choose to argue. I called back later the same day and told them the procedure was just for one arm. The day of the procedure, the nurse/PA/assistant(?) was going over which body parts and the cost of the procedure. She said both arms, told her it was for one arm and told her that was the wrong procedure, did not want Gentle Laze, had told them on consulting visit and when made the app't wanted the cryo treatment. After waiting an hour in exam room, I opened the door and saw the PA/nurse/assistant in an area across the hall. I asked her if we were going to start any time soon. She said that Dr. Roper would be here next which led me to ask if she was even in the building. She gave the answer, "She will be here next." I asked when we would start, the nurse/assistant/PA again said, "She will be here… next." I waited another 20 minutes in the exam room then opened the door to see the nurse person still in the area across the hall. She said, "Still waiting." I informed her I was done waiting and left. I have to wonder if choosing the less expensive procedure had any weight with the lack of professionalism exhibited.

A great disappointment to say the least. She put me on an internal medication and after a week I called office to find if the issues I was having could be attributed to this medication. I never rec'd a return call from her or office staff. I called again two days later and left a message on recorder. No response. How can she call herself a doctor? Also, she hadn't seen me in years and never had me undress and check me all over or her PA for possible cancer. I would never recommend or return to her again, to say the least.

I have an on-going genetic skin condition on my face which can only be handled by a Dermatologist. I found Dr. Roper to be knowledgeable regarding my issue and skilled in treating it. Her office is immaculate and her staff couldn't have been more helpful. She took her time in discussing my options for treatment, side effects, cost, follow-up. Dr. Roper did not rush me in and out and totally focused on the need at hand. Yes, I am delighted to have found such a skilled physician in Clearwater.

Dr. Roper saved my life. She found my melanoma. She found my melanoma on my back, which my previous dermatologist never looked at.
