Dr. Susan Sheneman, MD

I went to Dr. Sheneman years ago and came across her profile today. I considered her my primary care physician for about a year. Every time I left her office, I felt belittled and disrespected. She treated me as if I were stupid. I was working as a marketing coordinator at the time, and I will also note that this was the same experience for a friend of mine who was an artist - we both had excellent insurance plans, however. Our mutual friend who happened to be an attorney had recommended Dr. Shenemen, due to the excellent above and beyond care she received from her. Ordering tests, delving into the ins and outs of her issues and ultimately getting her to a better place. For a marketing coordinator and an artist, it seems she gave less than her best. I was not impressed and, had I not found a much better doctor who listened to me, I would be still flailing, trying to find the root of my problems.

Going to her was a complete waste of time and money. She has a knack for making you feel like you're asking stupid questions, does not care to listen to details, and provides no solutions. Her dismissive attitude says "you're wasting my time." She should be in a profession that requires far less human interaction because she's an extremely unpleasant person.

I've seen her 4 times now and am not impressed at all. I will be looking for a new doctor. She has never been helpful - she simply types everything you say and recommends nothing that helps. I have never had my medical issues resolved coming here

Dr. Sheneman is a very good, smart doctor but she is very short with you if you have questions. I feel you should be able to ask any question when it comes to your health. If you can put up with that, you will really like her because she does know her stuff. She also does not have you waiting for hours either.

I wouldn't know how she is as a doctor because she refused to honor my appointment and turned me away - all for being 5 minutes late and informing the office staff ahead of time, who assured me it was no problem. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I LOVE THIS DOCTOR!!!! I've only been a few times to see her, but each time I've gone, the wait time was minimum, the courtesy was outstanding and her patience was off the charts. I'd recommend her to anyone, but I don't want to overwhelm her and make it difficult for me to see her when I need to; so please forgive my selfishness!! LOL

Great doctor. Professional and thorough. Very focused on preventative medicine and ensuring an accurate diagnosis.

She spent 5 minutes to give me a fast exam compared with my 15-minute waiting. Feel like she wana go home ASAP. I will never see her again

Dr. Sheneman sees me on time when I schedule appts, yet is also able to "squeeze" patients with "emergencies" in and still maintain her scheduled appts. She is courteous, professional yet has a dry sense of humor which I enjoy. AND she has diagnosed my "problems" and successfully treated them where others have failed. I have recommended her to many friends and relatives (both men and women) and have received very positive feedback from them. While some of the males were reluctant to see a female MD, most have continued to see her because she's very professional, saw them on time and was able to identify and treat their issues.

Dr. Sheneman, is a caring and compassionate doctor, who genuinely cares about her patients.
