Dr. Susan Jane Souther, MD

Dr Souther is an average cardiologist whom I never felt safe with. She pawns most of her work to other Doctors or her staff, which don’t return any calls for any reason. There’s a trust that should form with a Cardiologist and I tried for several years to build this trust with her, to no avail. Her staff nurse has neglected to refill prescriptions in a timely manner, leaving me to go days without medications that are not supposed to be stopped. When I called and spoke to the nurse, she was defensive and unhelpful by still not filling the prescriptions correctly. Proper training should be deployed here. I’ve tried to talk to Dr Souther about this but she would not speak to me and said the prescriptions were filled! Thank you Dr for creating a mountain of stress for someone who already is dealing with a health crisis. I will look for a REAL Doctor who cares and isn’t just wasting time, rescheduling appointments, until retirement.
