Dr. Susan Saker Stegman, MD

Scheduled yearly check up and when I arrived she made it very clear that I didn't need to be there. appeared to be a hurry and was told not to come back for several years. I followed directions and simply called to have prescriptions renewed and was denied because I "havent seen her in a year". Unfortunately, she cant seem to keep things straight and makes it extremely difficult to have her as a doctor. would not recommend

Dr Stegman's bedside manner is odd at best in inappropriate at worst. She has no sense of rapport with the patient. Rather, she works through her chart, making jokes to herself about your medical needs as she goes. I would not recommend at all, but found her especailly inappropriate with our teenaged daughter.

Dr. Stegman is always on her game. She has a remarkable ability to balance genuine concern for her patients while remaining entirely professional. Her style may not be for everyone as she is very pragmatic and to the point but it works very well for me.

Dr. Stegman is one of those doctors that talks in "doctor-speak", so that you have no idea what they are saying, using complicated medical terms with no interest in explaining what that means for the patient. She also has little interest in establising a relationship with a patient, leading to better outcomes. Rather, she updates her chart and moves on to the next patient.

Dr. Stegman has always been very kind and concerned when I've been to see her. She is thorough in her questions and explains the options clearly.
