Dr. Susan L Storm, MD

Dr. Susan Storm is a native of the Northland. She graduated Valedictorian from Oak Park High School in 1979. She attended UMKC 6-year Medical School, graduating in 1985. After completing her pediatric residency at Childrens Mercy Hospital in 1988, she became an assistant professor at UMKC and an attending physician at Childrens Mercy Pediatric Care Center. She is one of the founders of Pediatric Care North, establishing the practice in January, 1989. She is very proud to have established the first pediatric practice in Platte County, now located on the Clay/Platte County line. Her passion and desire was always to return to the Northland and start a pediatric practice. Dr Storm is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Storm is the proud mother of two children, Shane and Sarah. She spends her time out of the office enjoying her children and attending their many activities. She has many outdoor hobbies, caring for her menagerie of animals, …riding and training horses with her family, organic gardening, and enjoying nature. Ask her about her zoo!

She also loves playing the piano with her daughter and accompanying her son on the trombone. She has a special interest in Developmental Pediatrics. She loves educating new parents about their childs developmental milestones and counseling them on their age-appropriate behavior. She is passionate about giving immunizations. Dr. Storm is thrilled and honored to care for second-generation patients.
