This doctor prescribed my dad a very strong anti inflammatory and his kidney function began to decrease and she continued to prescribe this medication to the point of irreversible kidney scarring that put him in kidney failure. Horrible!!! Basic knowledge that you stop a medication if your patients kidney function is decreasing. Irreversible mistake seeing her and trusting her!!!

Waited 3 months for appt confirmed the day before then was called 1 hr before appt. And told she was not coming in then was told would have to wait another 2 months for a appt. Guess vacation is more inportant yhan the pain your in. Yet the charge you if you do not cancel4 days Head. Place is a joke

This doctor is very rude and has no idea what she is talking about. I came here trying to get answers because I had blood work done that showed I may have lupus. She tapped me in a few places and basically said it was all on my head and i may have fibromyalgia. She wouldnt do any test and any time i talked she rolled her eyes and huff and puffed. She is very unprofessional do not waste your money or time.

She barely looked at me and misdiagnosed me with fibromyalgia. Turns out I have Sjogrens, not fibromyalgia and needed to lose weight which was why my joints hurt. She spent only a few minutes with me, touched three spots on my back and gave me the misdiagnosis. And worse of all, she had a med student with her - so she is teaching other doctors this!!!

Dr. Vandellen is enjoyable and a good listener. I have been going to see her for over 5 years. She has helped me with my fibro and also rheumatoid arthritis. I get blood tests every 3 months. I have had other serious illnesses which involved brain surgery. She would help me to find the best doctors and followed up with my care. She is someone I can depend on. She is no nonsense and keeps a tight schedule. Do not be late.

Drove from Eastpointe for my 9:00 appointment. Got to the building at 9:10, signed in and waited for 20 minutes. Only for an MA to come out and tell me I could wait til 11:30 or reschedule. When I said, why is that? Because I was 10 minutes late, she stated (with a smile) “probably”. If only I could inconvenience my doctors for not being on time.... will NEVER return....

She is nasty and rude! I have been going there for 5 yrs. She is very, very moody. I was so humiliated by her condescending remarks and attitude! She did diagnose me with Fibromyalgia, and treated that,. I also had severe hip pain for 3 yrs! she would NOT take x-rays and just lifted my legs up from the table and said there is nothing wrong with my hips!!!!! I took it upon myself to go to a orthopedic surgeon, (lucky i didn't need a referral). I found from him, I had arthritis, bursitis, and tendinitis,in my hips and back, along with for Fibro . I had a hip replacement...which made her REALLY NASTY , when I told her. She treated me like TRASH after that. She is a raging @#$%&. : (

She didn't read my history at all. Touched 4 or 5 areas declared she knew what it was. Handed me a fibromyalgia brochure and asked me which drug I wanted. When I said " how can you rule out arthritis since its in my family and I suffer pain and stiffness daily; she replied " you're to young to have arthritis, I can tell by looking at you!" Had she bothered to read my history she would of known I have a lot of arthritis. When I said for example "I can't squat or bend down she said sure you can, just do it". ( actually I have bone on bone arthritis) Don't waste your time or money on this joke of a dr. She never did a blood test etc etc. How could she possibly rule anything out before her 3 min diagnosis???? What a waste of office space.

Dr. Vandellen is a great doctor. Always fast and courteous.
