Summary
I am originally from the Midwest, growing up in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I moved to Tacoma, Washington, to attend college at Pacific Lutheran University. I then lived in Boston for the four years that I attended medical school, and did my 5 years of surgical training in Denver. It was in Denver that I became intimately familiar with the Kaiser Permanente system and I soon realized that it was the only place that I wanted to work. I met my husband while living in Denver and he introduced me to Southern California, since he is a native of the area. I was drawn to the beautiful weather and we moved to Orange County in August of 2000. We have three young daughters. I enjoy all types of outdoor activities including cycling, camping, hiking, and skiing. I have recently taken up salsa dancing and thoroughly enjoy that as well.
