Dr. Susan Adele Weaver, MD

She has no empathy or compassion. She spends maybe 2-3 minutes with you and gives you zero information about your diagnosis or treatment options. Don’t see her unless you want to feel belittled!

She was my dads Neuro oncologist and literally did nothing. She had no treatment plan and didn’t communicate well with the Neuro surgeon. The day after he died, she called the house to ask about scheduling an appointment… and was defensive when we asked how were you not informed of this? No empathy. No compassion. Shouldn’t work in oncology. Period.

It’s quite obvious this doctor for whatever reason has way too many patients. Completely unacceptable the lack of compassion, competence and overall care she’s able to offer in the Albany area.

A family member was ill with glioblastoma. Our family was well aware of the aggressive and progressive course of the disease. With that, we understood that it was basically a death sentence. Dr. Weaver either chose to put the case on a back burner or is too busy to continue to take on new patients with the goal of providing the care that every human being deserves. In a little over a year, she didn’t see this family member more than two times and even worse, desperate attempts to contact her failed miserably. As a family we felt we did not make the right decision and should have sought another specialist. We will live with that forever. I do not recommend putting your family members in her “care”.

Dr Susan Weaver was my Mom’s oncologist. Even though she had a very aggressive form of brain cancer, and options were limited, Dr Weaver was terrible in every aspect of her job. I certainly would stay far away from her and her incompetent staff! Almost impossible to even talk with her, she’s never ever available! My family and I have never been more disappointed in our lives! Again stay away from this Doctor!

Dr. Is a part time neurologist at Albany Medical Center, who does not have the time to address patient's care in time of desparate need and yet, they continue to take in new patients. If you find you are having a difficult time in getting her medical attention, find another doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Weaver for a number of years now. Her compassion and understanding has only made some difficult health issues a bit more manageable. She has always takes the time to explain anything I have questions on. I know she is busy, but I never feel rushed when I am in an appointment.

This doctor is just awful she says one thing and other things happen. She's not to be trusted. She will try to get every penny from the insurance company's so she will make you sit in the hospital for days and only one doctor for this disease. She gave my dad radiation when he didn't even need it. She's the worst doctor ever. If you are her patient think agian

This is not a patient review--it is a Nurse review. I worked with Dr. Weaver at Albany Medical Center for over 5 years, both inpatient and outpatient areas. During that time I was deeply touched by her compassion and total dedication to her patients and their families. The expertise she exhibited in her field was second to none. She respected the nursing staff and worked well with each and every one of us. She exhibits the standard that other doctors should be held to. There was nothing lacking in the manner in which she diagnosed, treated and cared for her patients. She is superior in her field.

Kind, compassionate and overall very excellent. Highly recommend.
