Wants you there at least 20 minutes early! Lets you wait up to a half hour before they check your vitals! Sends you back to wait another 30 minutes before putting you in a small room for 30 more. When she finally arrives she is rude and obnoxious.

She told me I needed surgery. If I put the surgery off she said it would be life threatening. I tried to schedule surgery but she would NOT send a referral and my records To surgeon office. I called numerous times and begged to please send my records. Do not go to her. Found out she has done this to many others.

I have been waiting on a simple surgery referral for 7 months now. This is after multiple phone calls requesting the referral and multiple pleas to get it done before the end of the year (2019) while my deductible was already paid. I called 4 months before the end of the year to allow plenty of time for referral and an appointment for surgery at her request. I didn't even get the courtesy of a return phone call. Still waiting and now due to Covid-19, I like will be waiting well over a year for a simple surgery referral. I hope it isn't cancer since she didn't even bother to order a biopsy or do any follow-up whatsoever. She was very impatient and rude when I asked questions about my symptoms almost to the point of condescension. When I asked another doctor about these issues, he simply rolled his eyes and told me to get another doctor...if I even can since they are all connected in Amarillo. Do yourself a favor and do not use this doctor.

Dr. Susan Wingo is the most unprofessional ER Doctor that I have come across in the last 17 years. She is very rude. She had the nerve to tell me that the next time I needed to come to the ER and I see her BIG RED TRUCK, to keep going down the road somewhere else!
