Dr. Susana Salcedo, MD

She does not listen, lacks humility, and worse of all is very condescending. At least she was to me. And given reading her reviews on the internet, not listening is a common critique. Listening is a really important form of emotional intelligence needed for a competent doctor.

Don't choose this doctor-never! I chose her as my PCP because she seemed nice. I only went to see her once a year for the physical so I just stayed with her for a few years. But when you have medical issues, the problem with her is she almost never listens. When you try to describe your medical problems, she doesn't want to listen and she reaches her conclusions very quickly without letting you finish. And the worst of all is she doesn't care at all. Recently I have left side pain for many months. She did order a CT, but after that, she keeps saying everything is fine, but not everything is fine. Even though the CT doesn't find out what caused my pain, but CT also shows some other medical problems I was not aware before. She even didn't bother to tell me and insisted everything was fine with me. I changed to another doctor and have my problems figured out (stomach problem). I feel Dr. Salcedo doesn't really care about her patients at all. Please don't choose this doctor as your… physician, otherwise, you will be regretting in the future pretty soon. If I can her zero star, I will.

Dr. Salcedo seems very impressed that she is a physician, and doesn't hesitate to let you know that her husband is a physician also. That being said, she does have a 'soft' bedside manner but at the same time a very know it all attitude. Although she did order most of the requisite tests for me, she did miss a major red flag. I went to a second physician and was appropriately diagnosed and treated. Hopefully I was the exception and not the rule.

I liked Dr Salcedo, she is knowledgeable and professional and will recommend her to any of my friends.

She is kind, compasionate and very knowledgeable. Always there for follow up and for any question.

Kind and understanding person. Very knowledgeable and quick to understand the medical situation. She would always be my first choice for any medical need.

Dr. Salcedo takes her time and shows true compassion and knowledge. She made me feel very comfortable and I am truly glad I found such a great physician!

Dr. Salcedo is as quality of a physician you can find. Her problem solving skills are excellent and only rivaled by her professional, yet compassionate bedside manner.
