I took my 3 1/2 year old daughter for her first dental visit at this location. Her teeth were healthy, all was well. 6 months later we took her for another check-up and was told she had two cavities in her molar teeth. I was surprised but made an appt to have them filled. When the day of the appt came, we were told that her cavities were very small, that it would not take long. After an hour, I asked what was taking so long. I was then informed that she required metal crowns on her two teeth, that she basically needed root canals on both teeth!!!! I was not talked to about this before the action was taken! I was furious! I was also informed that my daughter was very anxious during the procedure, crying. They told her that if she needed to cry or be upset, she should go outside b/c the other kids there didn't want to hear it!!! I am an early educator and this is not the approach or tactic that should be used with young children! My daughter came out crying, telling me she could feel… the procedure, that she tried raising her hand but they wouldn't listen to her. Needless to say, that was the LAST time I went back. I would never recommend this dentist!
