As a psychotherapist for the past forty years I have worked closely with physicians on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. I believe that a positive doctor-patient relationship reinforces patients motivation, which may in turn influence their health outcomes. Recently I was referred to Dr. Mourton for the removal of a large ovarian mass. Immediately upon meeting this outstanding diagnostician my anxiety was allayed. Her professionalism, compassion and reassurance inspired my confidence. I was impressed with her interpersonal skills, openness, collaborative approach to communication and informativeness. She performed a successful surgery for which my loved ones and I are tremendously grateful. If one is seeking a physician whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, surgical skills are impeccable, who treats the entire person and takes the time to be caring, there is no need to look further. Dr. Mourton exceeds the best.

I find Dr. Mourton to be very upbeat and caring. She is easy to talk to and answers my questions. She has been very encouraging. I appreciate the way she "humanizes" herself by sharing a bit about her family. She also gives hugs which are so very much appreciated!

I have moved to TN and cannot visit Dr. Mourton. She is the most patient empathetic angel of a Doctor. I have been blessed to received superior support and treatment from her. Her staff cannot be topped in my book. Of course I have been to hundreds if not at least a thousand doctors in my life so I do have a bit of knowledge on how a patient feels when they have a wonderful caring doctor.
