Dr. Susanne Laprad Archer, MD

I have been going to Dr. Archer for four years, my daughter is now as well, because she is pregnant. Dr. Archer performed my hysterctomy wonderfully and was off work during my recovery in the hospital, but came in several times to check on me. I wouldn't trust anyone else to deliver my grandchild. She is very thorough in how she explains everything in detail and waits for your feedback and questions, and she actually listens to you. I was blessed to find such a great gynocologist and OB.

Dr. Susanne Archer is an exceptional MD. She is very personable, attentive and professional. She takes great care of her patients and has great bedside manner. Will never go to another obstetrician.

I will never go back to her again. Each time I went to see her I spent between 30 min to over an hour waiting to see the doctor. The first time I met her she walked in, spent less than two minutes talking to me about my new pregnancy then proceeded to preform an ultrasound during which she delivered bad news. She very bluntly told me that I was going to have a miscarriage then walked out without explaining anything to me, telling me I should come back in a week to see her. I visited the office a total of five times in two months and the only people who were at all sensitive to my loosing my first baby were the nurses who, ultimately, I had very little contact with. Very poor experience.

I think Doctor Archer is the best. She was very friendly and down to earth. She was able to get straight to the problem. We scheduled to have a total hysterectomy, but before we had the surgery she sat and talked to me answering any questions for as long as I needed. In the hospital she was very reassuring. She did an awesome job. I feel so much better! I would "highly" recommend her to anybody needing a OBGYN. Thank you Dr. Archer!!! :)

If you've ever terminated a pregnancy, do NOT see Dr. Archer. She is unethical and will treat you terribly. Her entire staff was rude--unbelievably, horribly rude. They also scheduled my appointment to be at the Ypsilanti location, and then told me Dr. Archer was in Plymouth once I arrived in Ypsilanti. I drove to Plymouth for my appointment, no one apologized for the inconvenience--I wish I would've cancelled while I was standing at the front desk in Ypsi. I'm honestly scarred from this experience. I am absolutely appalled. I've never been treated so poorly in a doctor's office. I never write reviews, but I felt it was necessary this time, and hope that this review prevents someone from such cruel treatment.

Dr. Archer is first a wonderful human being and then she is a caring and professional doctor who listens to your concerns. She makes sure you understand what is going on and how best to treat what needs to be treated. I have told other people about her. All of the staff in the Plymouth office are wonderful.

Very caring! Truly felt at home with this doctor. Knows her stuff!
