Dr. Susanne Bradford, MD

I am a new patient of Dr Bradford , her bedside manners and communication skills to patients is excellent. If she says she will give you update expect it done. I am a RN with 25 years of experience a lot of doctors are expert in there skills in there profession but only a few has excellent bedside manners. If any patient would ask me for a recommendation I would definitely recommend her.

I switched to Dr. Bradford upon referral when I became pregnant. I wish I would have never switched. I found her to be condescending and ill-equipped to handle high-risk pregnancies. Although she delivered my baby safely, she pushed for unnecessary medication and a scheduled induction which led to a c-section under general anesthesia. Despite my objections, she prescribed a medication to which I was allergic. She also disregarded everything in my birthplan, even though she had agreed we discussed it. And I fully believe she scheduled my c-section for her convenience, as she was leaving for vacation the next day and would have been gone on my due date. If you have a high-risk pregnancy (even if only because of maternal age), I would suggest a different physician.

My experience with Dr. Bradford was by far the most upsetting experience I have ever had with any physician. I had called to set up an appointment to meet with this doctor after further abnormalities in my cycle and discuss concerns that I was having regarding my fertility. Instead of listening to my concerns and desires for my health, she smacked her hands on the desk, raised her voice at me to, "Stop, stop, stop," and told me that I was angry at her and that this relationship would not work. She told me that we needed to work as a "team" and that I wasn't doing that. I was being resistant and "angry." I can see where she thinks I was angry at her, but I was not angry at her. I am frustrated with myself and my body. I am scared that it's not functioning the way I know it should or can function. I am scared because there seems to be a trial and error approach to finding solutions that I am not willing to dive into without having more knowledge. I find the options to be limited. If… those are my only options, then let me ask questions. Teach me. Teach me about what the options truly are. Make me feel comfortable that this is what is right for me, my body, and my family. I am not hoping for a magic pill to make my problems go away. I am looking for a way to heal myself. I would appreciate that more/different tests be run and that more questions be asked before I choose a treatment option. I want all my bases to be covered. I want to be informed about my health decisions. However, the doctor told me that she would not do these things for me. She told me to come back when I was ready to take up one of the three options that she offered me. I am not opposed to those options, however I know my body and I believe that they are not the answer to my problems. I do not feel my options are exhausted at this time and that was what I was hoping to explain to her before I was interrupted and told to, "Stop!" I never had the opportunity to share this with her because she refused to hear me out. She told me that I was the problem and that how I wanted to be treated was not an option at this practice. I do agree that this is a team effort as this doctor suggested. I do not believe that the doctor realizes that the patient should be the captain of the team. It is my health, my body, my call. I am not an expert and do not claim to be, that is where I lean on my "teammate"/doctor to assist with the questions and concerns that I have regarding my health and potential treatments. On this day, in that office, the treatment I received was being yelled at and berated for not openly taking one of the three options that were offered to me. Maybe she was having a bad day. We all have them. Maybe she was frustrated, too. I can get that. However, I truly hope in my heart that no woman will ever have to experience the treatment that I received on that day, in that office. When I left that office, I left even more afraid and alone than when I had arrived.

Dr. Bradford was excellent as well as her nurse. I left my first pregnancy appointment with ease and excitement!

I've been a patient of Dr Bradford's for 5 years and I've never had a bad experience in her office. She is simply amazing!

I just had my son and Dr Bradford was amazing throughout my entire pregnancy. I had a csection and her professionalism and amazing bedside manner was so comforting. She has a wonderful ability to make you feel completely comfortable and safe. It's extremely important to be a "good doctor" when in the ob gyn field (in my opinion) due to it's sensitive nature. She does this flawlessly! I've recommended many friends to her and they love her as well. 5 star doctor and 5 star person!

Dr. Bradford is wonderful! She is a very kind, patient, positive and professinal doctor. She really takes the time to answer any questions you have at each visit. She is truly the best doctor I have ever encountered.
