Not good

As a new patient, I called to schedule an appointment for a routine colonoscopy. After holding long time, I was told that someone else will call me back to schedule. After waiting another day, a person named Raj called me asking for my previous recorder and refused to schedule the appointment. Even worse, she hang up on me when I asked if I can bring the recorder to the office after scheduling the appointment.

My husband and I both see Dr G for different complicated reasons and she is wonderful always ! She never leaves a question unanswered and you feel like you are absolutely her most important patient .

Dr G., is amazing! I had a horrible experience 9 years ago which prevented me from wanting to have a colonoscopy done within the 5 years I should have. I finally was referred to Dr. G!! Best experience ever! She took her time, was patient and very kind and caring. Her bedside manner was exceptional!! I have referred her to all my friends! Her staff was good, but the Dr is what always matters most! Dr. G is the Best and deserves more then just 5 stars!

This doctor diagnosed me as ibs stress related. She put me on lexapro even though she knew I could not tolerate Effexor (the drugs are related), then she refused to help me get off the lexapro which caused horrid withdrawals. Her nurse told me she "only prescribes Lexapro, if you want something else you need to find another doctor". In addition she said I had anxiety and out me on Ativan, which was fine as I've done well with Ativan before. Suddenly she up and declined to refill the Ativan, the only drug that was providing any relief and I was non functional not just a little off with the ibs. Lastly, according to her every twinge or pain is ibs related. Neck hurting? Ibs. Kidneys ache? She doesn't want to test them it must be ibs. I had to have a screaming fit to get her to send me for a HIDA scan after an ER doctor told me no way was the pain I was having caused by ibs. I've since switched doctors and, upon recounting my experience with Dr. Gundlapalli, he said he felt very sorry for… me. Even when I would call Dr. Gundlapalli needing/asking to see her, she never had an appt in under 3 weeks and always told me to "just go to the emergency room". I got a gastroenterologist so I could STOP going to the ER. If I had more thumbs, I'd give her more than two thumbs down.

I woke up one morning and a thought came to my mind, more of an order, to get a colonoscopy. I was 56 and never had one. I did my homework and made an appointment with Dr Sushama Gundlapalli. The clinic and personal were fantastic. Dr Sushama visited with me and put me at ease. The doctor was warm and friendly but at the same time serious and very convenient. Trusting Dr, Sushama comes easily. After the procedure I was shown a picture of a very rare cancerous tumor hidden in my intestine.

I would recommend Dr. Gundlapalli unconditionally.
