Dr. Susheel Dua, MD

After two major surgeries a month apart, and continuing renal cancer, I was sent to Dua for intense, reoccurring pain. After a very short time, and following every direction they gave me, they stopped my meds, and I was told that they would only prescribe very addictive, very dangerous, NARCOTIC pain patches. After waiting ALL day from 8 am for them to even send the prescription to the pharmacy for me to find out just how outrageously expensive the patches were, I called their office to tell them that I couldn't afford them. They left me hanging all weekend, and after 5 days of nothing from them, I had to call them back that Thursday. I again told them I couldn't afford $216 for one prescription, and asked for a much less expensive, NON NARCOTIC medication, and was flat out refused, and once again told that they would only prescribe the patches. They couldn't have cared less about me, or what I'm going through. If you are looking for a doctor who cares, just scroll on by Dua's name.… He doesn't give a crap about patients. When you call the office, you ALWAYS have to leave a message, because you are continuously reminded by them that you are their lowest priority, and THEY are doing YOU a favor by even gracing you with their presence. I have never had the displeasure of such a poor excuse for a "doctor" in my life. If that's the best that he can do, Dua needs to pack it up. There are far more caring pain doctors to go to. I wouldn't trust a single positive review for this office, as I know exactly how I've been treated, which is shameful. Do yourself a huge favor, and avoid a lot of wasted time, and avoid these people completely!

The Dr. decided he was too important to come into the exam room to see me himself. He sent his PA in to do his dirty work...

Sneaky

Waited for appt to see Dr. Dua. Drove 1 hr just to get earliest appt. 45 mins. Finally I was seen by PA, still thinking I would see Dr Dua. Left with booklet on SCS, script for psychological Exam, and website on procedure.. So many questions .. Am I a candidate for SCS? Is this normal procedure?

I have chronic pain and my regular Dr was not there . Dr Dua walked in who never met me and made a diagnosis in 3 minutes.. He was arrogant ' rude and completely insulting . Said "If I just wanted drugs , there are other places to go". Instead of helping me and getting me better so I DONT have to take drugs . This by far was the WORST Dr I have met.. Never go to him or His pain clinic at Northside Pain

Dr.Dua was amazing. His np Sabrina Daniel was great as well.

Dr Dua is excellent!! He is a fabulous practitioner with a wonderful bedside manner. He has help my neck pain due to a bulging disc tremendously. The staff are wonderful, professional, caring, and prompt. I can't say enough good things about my experience(s).

I have been a patient of Northside Pain Management and Dr. Dua's for chronic back pain for several years. I find Dr. Dua to be kind, caring and a most skilled physician. When I need an appointment at the pain clinic, I always request Dr. Dua! He is definitely 5 star!!!

I have had a number of procedures performed by Dr . Dua and his "team" and would recommend him to anyone.

I like Dr. Dua and his ability to help manage my chronic pain!
