Dr. Sushil Mitter Sethi, MD

My husband was on Workers comp and had to see this medical person ( I cant even say he is a doctor) to get evaluated before going back to work. When I called this person office the medical person himself answered the phone and used horrible language when I asked questions the office itself did not even look like a medical facility. I called workers comp to report him they did not seem to care as long as he would put my husband back to work. Shame on him and shame or workers com for using him I would not even give him one star but there is nothing below that

Do not believe anything this man says

This so called physician is now practicing in Oregon. I was sent to him for an independent medical evaluation since being on long term disability for multiple sclerosis. I can not believe this man is an actual physician as he attempted to listen to my heart and lungs with the stethoscope on my stomach. He has absolutely no knowledge of MS or neurology for that matter. He constantly interrupted me to the point I never fully got to answer a question. He lied in his report. He stated several times he was not employed by the insurance company who sent me there. Give me a break. Everyone knows insurance companies send employees to the person they can pay off to deem the worker "cured." Wonder why he left Ohio and came to Oregon???? If he determines you are healed file and appeal then sue your disability company.

I fully agree with EVERY review. I was a long time employee of his, even relocated to work for him and I witnessed this bedside manor or lack there of frequently. After years of working for him he had his wife take me to lunch and lie to me and say they would nolobger be working in this office and gave me one week's severance pay after YEARS of loyal duty and I treated his patients better than he did. Totally agree shouldnt be in practice. The morning my grandmother passed away he was mad at me for wanting to leave to go be at her bedside with her when she passed and he knew that she helped raise me. Screw him. Totally agree

I have never been to such a horrible, rude doctor. While I waited to see him, he was SCREAMING at his staff and I could hear that at least one (or more) were crying. I felt so bad for them. A teary-eyed assistant who later helped me seemed very nice. But Dr. Sethi was OBNOXIOUS. Each time he'd ask me a question, when I would start to answer, he'd cut me off. He didn't hear a word I said. How can he know what's wrong then? He just seemed to have the attitude that I was Just Fine and was only Wasting His Precious Time. Well, I'm NOT fine, if I was, I sure wouldn't go to a doctor, let alone him! NEVER AGAIN will I go to that doctor. He did nothing for me, other than make me feel even worse by the time I left his office than when I arrived there.

Absolute worst doctor I've ever been to this appointment was made by my employer for a second appointment and the doctor made up his mind before I arrived ... Very disappointed in my care and his bedside manner.

1 star is high - should be zero. He said that someone who has been determined to be disabled multiple times by several others - has nothing wrong and should go back to work!

I have never seen this "Dr" (I live in NY). My case was referred to him for job disability. I've had 3 thyroid cancer surgeries and the last one over 4 years ago leaving me with permanent nerve damage. I have also developed fibromyalgia. This "Dr" told my pain management/neurologist Dr that he has done many, many thyroid surgeries and had never seen one who had such a degree of pain. And because he's never heard of this, I must be making this up!!! He also states that my Dr told him he referred me to another Dr about having MEDIAN nerve branches to be burnt or injected to stop pain. Maybe if he knew what he was talking about he would know MEDIAN would be for something for carpal tunnel, not MEDIAL for neck! And my Dr has never said anything about burning anything! This guy is a complete hack!!

If this man is supposed to be a doctor then im a rocket scientist.He has no ethics what so ever.During my exam,he downgraded my back surgeon.Asked stupid questions not much pertaining to me.I know how workers comp works and I know how companies don't want to take responsibility for injuries. But to send people to a doctor(ha..ha) like this is a crock of s...! Might as well have me mail an exam in because everyone will know their fate when leaving.
