DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. I recently moved to Jersey City from the Carolinas. I was looking for a new dentist so I decided to go here. It’s walking distance from my apartment and I felt it might be convenient. I scheduled for a cleaning and made it clear I had recent X-rays and that my insurance would not cover additional x-rays so I did not want them. Prior to my appointment, I emailed the dentist office a copy of my most recent x-rays (from 5 months ago). The file contained 11 images. When I went to the office for my cleaning, they didn’t have my X-rays. I sent them again, no problem. Things kind of went downhill from here. The hygienist insisted I get new X-rays. I said no thank you. She finally started cleaning my teeth. No goggles were provided. She dropped the mirror tool in my eye. Goggles would have prevented this. I didn’t say anything and just went along with the flow. After the cleaning, the dentist came in to say they couldn’t really help me with a single image of my… teeth. There were 11. They continued to pry at the X-rays until she finally rudely said, “Okay you can leave now.” I got up and went to check out with the receptionist. Who again, tried to charge me for X-rays. I made it clear I did not get X-rays. Here I am a week later writing this review as MetLife has let me know I was charged for two additional services that were not related to a cleaning totaling up to $400. I’m sure they get most people don’t have the time to argue with a dentist office over their awful practices. The best we can do is let everyone else know not to go here. Also, the office is a complete dump.
