Dr. Sushma Amara, MD

Dr Jwala is very caring doctor. I had severe gestational diabetes during my pregnancy and had two miscarriages before. She monitored my sugars closely and took time to explain the risks to the baby with high blood sugar levels. I had a normal delivery a month ago. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Jwala.

They employ a doctor (!!!) called Sushma Jwala. I am sure she is the worst doctor anyone can ever see. My wife and I went here for a 19w scan. She presented what is a one in a million chance of anomaly as if it was 100%. We were shocked and devastated. We were smart enough to get a 2nd opinion from a better doctor (any random perinatologist is better than her) and got another scan at Stanford. The doctor there told us that everything looked good. And now we have a lovely daughter. If it was up to this Dr. Jwala, we would have thought about alternative options (through her recommended genetic counselor). Pregnancy is an important time of life for both parents. DON'T go here unless you want to ruin this wonderful experience.

I was having complications with my pregnancy and went to see Dr. Jwala, as she was recommended to me by a colleague of mine. She was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was going on. I feel so lucky to have found her, and know that I’m in good hands. Would definitely recommend her!

No English, Won't answer any questions asked. Will make you scared to death for nothing.

This is the worst doctor i ever visited. She doesn’t like questions and answers in general way.Zero help or advise or even encouragement.I always thought that doc gives you options and explains but not this one. If you can pick up other doc just do it.
