Dr. Susie Kim Lee, MD

I couldn’t disagree with some of these reviews more. I have lived in NYC for 22 years and she is the first doctor who I feel actually listens to me. She is kind, caring, and has great bedside manner, she takes my questions seriously and is not dismissive. I highly recommend her.

I saw Dr. Lee on several occasions based on good reviews but turned out to be a big mistake. She is generally a poor communicator, particularly when it comes to a diagnosis. My experience has been she jumps to conclusions regarding a potential diagnosis and is kind of like the "Chicken Little" character. I stopped seeing her immediately because of this.

I agree with the person below, she does block responses to messages when she feels like even if you don’t thoroughly understand or haven’t finished thoroughly communicating what you need; she’s done with the conversation as far as she’s concerned. She seems to always be on to the next patient without seeming to genuinely care about the previous. I guess some docs just care about meeting quotas

I was glad to see a place open-up near where I live. I saw Dr. Susie Kim Lee had good reviews from a prior closed location and I signed up for an annual physical. Since then I've had nothing but apathy combined with poor communication. I contacted them through the portal about getting a traveller's diarrhea prescription before my upcoming trip to Africa. In 5 days they couldn't coordinate that, I ended up leaving for the trip without it. I recently reached out through the portal asking for a referral that another dr. recommended (I did need a referral for the dermatologist and allergist). My inquiry turned into a conversation and I guess she didn't feel like having a conversation with me? She blocked my responses to her messages! I don't know why a doctor would block someone that's having an allergic reaction. Additionally, she did not create both referrals. I had to start another message to her asking her again to send the 2nd referral!
