I’m glad to see mostly positive reviews since that means others did not have to go through the medical negligence I experienced, but it was unfortunately one of the most dismissive and awful medical appointments I’ve had in my life. I would urge you to stay away if you have ANY mental health issues on top of your physical symptoms. Dr. Odunsi was recommended to me by my GP after moving from a new state specifically because she was caring and not dismissive, which just made it even more difficult when I experienced the complete opposite. I was experiencing nausea, vomiting, lower GI issues, and malabsorption for over a year and was struggling without any relief and unable to function in my day-to-day life. However, since I have PTSD in my history, her first and only suggestion to me was that I might have to start accepting that this was all psychosomatic even with my severe symptoms and a family history of Crohn’s. Apparently, I just need to learn some breathing techniques to be cured.… She dismissively said she would do a colonoscopy on me, run bloodwork, and give me a new nausea medicine to try (which she never actually even prescribed to me) but be prepared for her to not find anything. She tried to justify it at one point by saying I already had a single colonoscopy in my history that didn’t return any significant results. Any ounce of medical knowledge would tell you that it typically takes time for your GI tract to show evidence of the degradation, so people often require multiple scopes as symptoms often precede evidence (alongside the fact that Crohn’s often begins or is seen in the part of your track right outside of the scope’s range and is often missed). So basically, it was a medically inaccurate excuse to again dismiss my complaints while not addressing the atypical symptoms I was experiencing. I was left to cry in the room for a bit while she saw other patients, I assume she was actually taking seriously, and then had to check out while still sobbing so she could see other patients. I got sent off with a sheet on how to breathe better and not even the measly prescription I was promised. Fortunately for myself and my health, I kept pursuing my illness. Shortly after, I discovered I had a severe condition that included my body reacting as if I was poisoned and it often sends people to the emergency room multiple times before it is relieved. My body was purging itself of most food and nutrients on and off for over a year, and I was told it must all be in my head, simply because I have trauma that has been getting treated for multiple years now and did not even remotely coincide with my symptoms. To walk into a patient’s room already prepared with the answer it’s all just psychosomatic before seeing or speaking to them, simply because they have a mental health issue is completely inappropriate, dismissive, and in my case, a complete act of medical negligence. I am disgusted by her behavior and feel it is necessary to provide a review for others’ sake alongside her own, as I think she truly believes she handled this appropriately and is unaware of her gross negligence and dismissal of what ended up being a severe medical issue. However, even if I didn’t have this condition, I would be disgusted by her behavior, as it was a totally inappropriate and archaic view of mental health by a regular person, let alone from a medical practitioner.

Waited for my results for a month after I was told I would receive them in 7-10 days. Office manager and front desk staff and nurses assistants were all disgustingly rude. Office manager yelled at me. Doctor doses not follow up with patients and she cares more about her staff than her patients. Doctor is very care-free with horrible bed side manners. RUNNNNN!!!

Stay away from this group. Scheduling is horrible, unprofessional staff, don’t waste your time!

She found a cancerous tumor in my intestines and in less than a week. She called me for my results, sent me for a CT scan and referred me for a surgeon and an oncologist. He called me personally and was very quick to refer me to the specialists. Very reliable and assertive.

Dr Odunsi restored my faith in doctors. She sat down and listened. She reviewed my hospital records. Not only thorough but warm bedside manner. She explained the results of colonoscopy. Excellent staff. LRL
