Dr. Suzanne Patricia Burns, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Burns since 2005. I would never want to be in a position where I can't see her as my primary doctor. She's amazingly patience and genuine in her care. Definitely not the doctor that just rushes your exam for the "next"patient. I can talk to her about anything and I have always been met with a sincere and empathetic ear.

It’s time for her to retire

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Burns for approximately 23 years. She listens to our symptoms and answers all questions that we have. She is kind, compassionate, and respectful. Most importantly spends time with you. I wanted to go on a new drug for my Fibromyalgia. She printed out the drug fact sheet, went over each side effect and talked me right out of trying it. I am so glad she did! If I have to wait, which is rare, I know that she is spending time with another patient just as she does with me. So I don't mind at all. We are moving to SC and I don't know how we will ever find a doctor as wonderful as Dr. Burns. She is irreplaceable.

Dr. Burns is very thourough and listens to the patient. I would highly recommend her to a family member or friend.

When Dr. Burns first started her practice,my mother was one of her patients. As an elderly person, my mother was treated kindly and respectfully. My sister and I switched over to Dr. Burns and continue to see her because we so respect as a physician and a person who truely listens. I feel so much more comfortable with a woman doctor and Dr.Burns is not only wonderful, thorough.

The first time I met with her, she brought me into her office to go over my records, to ask questions, and to answer questions. She followed up with a complete physical. I always felt that she listened to my symptoms and my questions. She was careful to explain my diagnoses and how to treat any illnesses. She is compassionate and attentive.I wish that I could have brought her with me when I moved to Florida. She is the BEST.
